Course Curriculum Overview
Some course are very good and interesting to learn. Whereas some are not that good and not very relevant to the field that we will be working on. Some of the courses' syllabus hasn't been updated to match the current trends.
Fees and Financial Aid
Whose parental income is above Rs.5 Lakhs per annum: 100000 (tution fee) 350(exam fee) 200(registration fee) 700(medical fee) 6000(seat rent) 0 0 7250(other fee) 107250(total) This is for one semester.
Campus Life
There are so many extra curricular activities in the college apart from studies. The club environment is the best in IITM compared to all other IITs and other colleges around India. The hostels are not that good but the overall infrastructure inside campus is good.
Admission
IIT is one of the top college in India for Undergraduate studies, that's the main reason that I applied for this college. The admission process includes two screening exams considered to be one of the toughest exams around the world.
Faculty
We get some of the best professors in the whole India. They teach very good. But some are not that good and do not care whether we understood the topics. Most of the course have two quizes and an endsem. All three are descriptive.
Interview Experience
Yeah, we had two screening exams which are considered the toughest exams in the world. The topics for these exams were based on the class 11 and class 12 syllabus but in an advanced level. I prepared from YouTube and some teachers.
Night Life
There are free gyms inside campus. And there are also many eateries around the campus. There are restaurants, bakerys, CCD, and many small shops, vending machines in all the nook and corner of the campus.
