Data science is a rapidly growing field. Now Artificial intelligence is everywhere and there are too many jobs opening for machine learning. This course provides you all the important knowledge about data science to be industry ready. But the lectures are little bit boring. In a term of 4 months there are 3 exams that are conducted.

There are too many students who got internships after completion of diploma level. Many top leading companies offerd paid internship to the students. The stipend ranges from 10000 rupees per month to 100000 rupees per month.

Once you complete the third level of this course which bsc degree wo get eligible for campus placement opportunities. Since only 4 years have passed after starting of this course there is only one placement drive till now. But according to sources 2500 students got placed and many more got internship in many leading companies. As I have heard the highest package is around 12 lpa.

The fee structure varies every year. The foundation level of the course has a fee of 32000 INR. And the fees of diploma level is 125000. Total fees for the complete bs degree is 350000 INR. There are scholarships for students whose economic condition is not good. There are scholarships of 50 % and 75 % fee waiver. There is also placement and internship support for this course.

There are clubs for many activities. But as this is an online course no campus life is there for you. All the activities done in online mode only. But there is a grand annual fest that is organised for online bs students. It's Paradox. All students from whole india come to IIT Madras and participate in many out door or indoor activities

This course has 2 entries. One is JEE based and another is a qualifier exam conducted by IIT Madras itself. The application form is on the IIT Madras official website for data science. There are also reservation benefits as low cutoff and fees waiver. The exams are conducted in Sundays. Its from 2 pm to 5 pm. It has a moderate difficulty.

The faculty is very experienced. They teaches us with great enthusiasm. As it is an online course there is no such thing as faculty to student ratio. There are live sessions that are organised almost every day to clear our doubts by the teachers and teaching assistants.
