Overall, it's a great college. It has been ranked as the #1 College in India by NIRF, under MHRD for 3 consecutive years. It's difficult to get in, and that makes it even more worth the hardwork and experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is great. It's very free for students to choose their courses and freedom in so as to when the particular course is to be taken. Exams also vary from professor to professor. It's mostly subjective only.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are really amazing in our institute. Students get placed in various companies like Google Facebook, etc. The initial package offer goes upto rupees 1 crore per annum.
College Events
There are event happening in the college all across the year. Most importantly our cultural fest Saarang and our technical fest Shaastra are one of the largest student festivals in the country. There are a lot of other events too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is reasonable amounting to 100000 per semester. the fees are also different for students with scholarship and different caste also for people from different income brackets. There are lots of facilities here.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are lots of scholarships available in our institute, most of which are given by our institute alumni. Loans are also offered by the bank in our institute at very affordable rates of interest. It is very supportive in this aspect.
Campus Life
They are wonderful. There are a lot of high class facilities and last available for the students. Other people from outside come to practice and work on different research fields. We have an Olympic size swimming pool and a very big cricket stadium.
Alumni/Alumna
Our alumni are extremely widespread and great. We can find our institute alumni in almost every sector of the industry in very prominent positions. They also contribute back to the institute and very willing to help out the current students as well.
Admission
There's an entrance examination - IIT JEE, which covers topics from class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry and Maths. There are two exams - Mains and Advanced. Over 12 lakh people apply for the exam, and around 2L people qualify for the Advanced, while, finally, only around 10000 people make it to IIT.
Faculty
the faculty here is amazing. All of them are grest in their field and very respected people. People from outside try very hard to approach them for any collaboration or work that have the professor. The teaching is also great.
