Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BBA business analytics specifically because I was very much interested in working integrally within a company to understand and influence my decision towards a company's betterment. we have exams every 2 months once and the difficulty of the exam is average
Internships Opportunities
Internship is rather a separate subject sort of, with a huge weightage of marks, we have to source and find a company and work with them and also fill the necessary documents college provides to prove your working in an internship which further is verified with a viva round.
Placement Experience
There is campus placement in my college and apparently it has the best campus placement for students with a larger ratio, students are eligible for campus placement from 6 semester. I was interviewed by Companies like EY, Northern trust, IBM. I was offered 2. Highest package was 5lpa 70 percent students got placed I've got my degree few months back
Fees and Financial Aid
Total sum of 91000 includes tuition fee, registration, admission,lab, extra curricular activites, events organised, Student excursion and other such welfare activites for the society SC and ST category have higher concession
Campus Life
My department being BBA professional management studies conducted events like Invictus, international conferences for startups, NPTEL courses, annual events, cultural events etc. The library is vast with a collection of books and sources of knowledge widely. In class, we have a well-seated bench, advance projector, blackboard etc. Sports was below average honestly
Admission
I applied in st. Joseph University for the course BCA. BCA was my plan B, and plan A was to join Kristu Jayanti College specifically for the course BBA Business Analytics. I got confirmation from both the colleges respectively, I made the easier and the best choice of KJC for the course BBA Business Analytics. I didn't get any rejection from other colleges. After applying I got an email mentioning my interview in the next following 3 days, the interview was easy to crack with basic accounting questions and I was further selected
Faculty
Faculties are a gem honestly, very friendly and approachable in terms of studies as well to share your ideas and insights as well One faculty namely a professor Shilpa Rao was someone who I blindly approach at any given point without hesitation We have 2 exams in one semester which makes it 4 exams in a year, it's pretty average when comes to difficulty
Night Life
We have a small gym, 3 huge cafeteria with each cafeteria having more than 3 shops, 3 library and huge public area in different spots Hostel are outside college not owned by the college, campus timings differs based on the course. Inside college hangout spots are the cafeteria and the basketball court, outside colleges, you have red kings chilli for best authentic Chinese cuisine. The locatity is safe to roam at any time given the police station nearby and constant movement of night security and cctv's
