The 1 thing i like is the view of the college and 2 is the teachers behavior
There are lots of concert and movies night
The placement are overall good with good packages

Dislikes

Lots of exams and classes in morning .
For eating lunch or dinner we have to go other place outside of our hostels
AND THE LAST is the losts of rules and regulations

The overwhelming demand of the new Era and my own intrest inspired me do chose this subject. Or this field . By or according yo me and ny interest can be confident that i will not face any challenges in feature but the areas that need to be changed is the teaching method of the some teachers like they don't try to find out the student interest they just trying to force or put their own. Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees of my semester is 2800000 And hostel fees is 116000 And and there is also the reservation for army childrens also and yoh can also apply by. Jee and from 12 class also . Sc and st reservation is also in this college

Campus Life

The campus is beautiful with lots of new things to discover and their are lots of thing that you can do heare. Also . Like joining clubs like IEEE, photography ., and lots of other . You can also join ncc and lots of interesting things

Hostel Facilities

The facility that is provided are very simple not very high class like there is a wending machine and a coffee machine for late night craving and curler for water and a machine for hot water if ue need it.

Admission

As for the first choice of mine i had always prefer nit or iit but due to bad bad score in jee i outed juit because of good placement and 2 good infrastructure and good faculty also and my brother has also studied from this college . As for the other college their are many in my list but . As my brother's has also studied from this college i aslo thik to follow his path

Faculty

For each subject their is a. Best teacher both leacture and for tutorial also and the teachers are very humble and energetic in their own. Field . Especially the maths faculties Te the best . . And the exams are conducted 3 times in 1 semester . If you are interested in doing any type of gov job preparation then. Teachers also support the. Students and also gell them in guiding and motivation also .

Interview Experience

Nop .you can take admission through . Jee and 12 based exams and there might be some other . Things but these are the mane process for the admission . You can apply through online and come for counseling .

Night Life

The night life is simple most of the time because of exams and other things but some times the events used to occurred like dj night and bollywood and other . And as for the fitness the gym are also avaliable with lots of gairs and dumbell also the hostel times are 10 pm .

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I applied for Chitkara, Cu, Du, HPU, SRM etc and the main reason I choose this college is because of the studies, placement and location. The study culuter in this unversity is very good as compared to other university . The student Teacher ratio not very large as compared to the other university which give every students a chance to stand out and get better results . I got acceptance from cu , du and 2 or 3 other colleges. Yes i also got rejections from colleges like SRM , VIT for not scoring a good percentile in jee and the fees and cost of living there i svery high as compare to JUIT . The admission process is very easy students can apply on the basis of their boards marks or on the basis of their JEE exams as well . After that students can attend the counselling sessions where they can vbisit the college get to know about the college . the admission staff is very helpful and they guide the students and family step by step throught out the whole process....Read More

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements.
