The course I chose was Computer Science and it is trending in the real world. The areas for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods I don't feel so but yeah the timely completion of the course before exams can be improved. The timings of the exams are on point and run according to the one mentioned in academic calender.

The names of companies vary from mass recruiters to the ones that only take 2 to 3 students. The name of companies that are mass recruiters are LTIMindtree , Infosys , Cognizant , Wipro . The other companies that take selective students are like Playsmart , Nestzsmart , ZScaler , ZS etc.

Placements of the college are average like they change every year, the number of students who get placed changes year by year either the number increases or decreases . The average Package that takes place is 10LPA and out of 300 around 150 or 200 gets placed easily . My plans after getting the degree is to get a job in the perfect company offering descent salary .

Here the semester-wise fees are paid at Rs.2.1 Lakhs per semester, which is around Rs.4.2 Lakhs per year . The tuition fee is around Rs.1.2 lakhs per semester including all the taxes except hostel fees, which is to be paid with it which is Rs.80,000 per semester . No scholarships are there but for students whose parents are working in the same group have some waived off on the overall Fee.

The college has its own club called JYC which includes various clubs and committees. One annual fest is called LeFeiustus and one major sports event is Parakram where colleges from different states come and participate in the competitions which are held in the university. The library has a wide range and accessibility of books and journals which you can issue anytime by showing your ID cards. Also, there are two social clubs and 2 international clubs which are there in the university.

The facilities provided in rooms are bed and bed box , almirah , table , chair , cupboard and there is a tuck shop in Girls hostel and wending machines in every hostel . The mess is not in the hostels it is in a separated building . PG are also available nearby the university so no need to worry about that . The quality and quantity of food is too good that people don't miss their mom's food and all the things are affordable .

I did apply to Thapar Institute but was not able to be admission in that as I scored fewer marks in my JEE and didn't clear my cutoff for that college , except this I didn't apply to any other college and now I like this university .

The faculty-to-student relationship is very friendly and stress-free, students feel free to contact their teachers anytime they want . There is no restriction . There are 3 exams per semester First one is for 15 marks next is 25 marks then the last end semester is of 35 marks rest 25 marks are internals given by teachers on class performance and how active students are in class.

The night life :- there is in-time for students in the university like for summers it is till 8pm and in winters it is 7:30pm , students are allowed to rome around inside the university till 9:30pm for girls and no restrictions for boys . There is mixed mess for boys and girls and 1st year mess is different and 2nd , 3rd and 4th year mess is combined so as to avoid ragging for 1st year students. There are many spots and cafes where students can visit in their free time .
