Course Curriculum Overview

3

ECE curriculum are so outdated according to 2019 scheme. The semester bearly has a time to finnish the syllabus. And also the theoretial approach is very rare and less. With the limitations in the durations of the courde, exams are tend to be difficult.

Placement Experience

2

Placements are comparitively very low, with less salary packages. My plan is to try other placements outside my college too.not only in my core but also as a full stack devoloper in IT field. Student getting Placements are really low and the companies approach are comparitively low scale pay companies.Which reduces the interests for students to approach for a college placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

fee structure of my college is under kerala government's fixed fee and the yearly fee is about 35000 for tution fee only .But other fees catogorised as special fee are about 6500 rupees and there's been a hike in this money, than last year i've paid. So for the first year ive paid about 55000 rupees including 1st years tution fee+special fee+caution deposit. In the second year its about 41310 rupees which comprises of 35k-Tutionfee+6130-Special fee.. Iam not availing any scholarships but other students whho are eligible of scholarship has recieved them.

Campus Life

4

When ive enrolled the college itself Ive got comparitively much programs than other students who studied there.last year about in November-December we had Technical Fest. Then ive got many other programs in every festival.Recently on 2024 we got Arts festivals which was a great success. Books in library are some what updated but they lack latest edition books.they dont revice them on the basis of their latest edition. Class rooms are not advance our block classrooms doesn't even have a white board for the projectors or the projectors aren't working too. College doesnt give much importance to sports they usually concentrate on the academics. But right now there is a progress..we dont have a well maintained college Grounds too. groups like nss, ieee, csi IEDC and other clubs are active

Admission

My first preference were Goverment engineering colleges Later Ive opted for colleges under CAPE,Also under cape College oif engineering vadakara wasthe best and have a good placements too.And my friends and family even suggested me this college. The admission process Ive went though were normal allotment processes in the colleges.Ive gained my entry in ece by allotment process

Faculty

2

Talking about Student Faculty ratio,Its like 2 mentors for 60 students. For out Engg Mathematics subject a sir named,Sujith has done an extraordinary method of teaching...Ive didn't seen such teacher in my journey of learninng till now.He explains every conncepts so that each students gets them. Some faculties are also there where we couldn't understand, but with complaiining or requesting for a substitute, our college do so. Right now I am on my 3rd semester ive written about 3 exams for each subjects.2 semester internam exams and 1 semester-end exams.till now ive writtern about 46 exams. For the final exams, proportionality of passing a semester are low..so there is a lare pass-fail ratio. Course curriculum has to be revised as only theoretical approach of learning is happening.

Night Life

3

There isn't any Gym in our college. And the cafeteria closes at 6.00 pm.But the college will be open till 10.00 in the night and students are allowed inside the campus. But for the hostel students it is mandatory to reach before 6.30 pm.It is safe to walk around in any time of the day.As ive mentioned our college is situation between montains so the scenery is spectacular.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably
