RCSS First Year Review

The opportunities in ACCA helped me choose this course despite being from a science stream background. Faculty uses practical applications and real life examples to make students industry ready. Exams are at a medium level of difficulty and have a good pass rate.

I have not been provided an internship opportunity yet since I am only in my second semester but there are internship opportunities provided around the year by huge companies. Forms are filled to apply for the same.

Students are eligible for campus placements from sixth semester. Big 4 provide several heart opportunities for students of Rajagiri. Highest and average package is not known to me as I am only doing my second semester as of now.

Tuition fees are 2,18,750 per year so total of 8,75,000. This includes fees for acca and bcom. B.Com only is 90,000 per year. These fees do not include study material.Many scholarships are available based on merit, caste and gender.

We have Splendore every December which invites people from other colleges and helps students make various connections. All facilities and technological provisions are top notch and smart screens and air conditioners are installed in every classroom

Hostel is good with 3 people sharing. Meals are average with repeated menu every week. Registration is through application form given on day of admission processing and we are later contacted through mail.

ACCA 9 paper exemption helped me choose this college. All exempted foundation courses have classes conducted for basic learning and mock exams are also conducted. Admission process was complicated and required a lot of document submission.

All faculties are very approachable and knowledgeable in their fields. Mentorship programs are helpful and keep students on track. Exams are conducted every semester with two sets of internal exams and one end sem exam.

There are gyms for both girls and boys separately with good equipment. All cafeterias are stocked with good snacks. Hostel curfew for girls is 7 pm and for boys is 8:30 pm. Famous hangout places are Al Taza, Lulu Mall. Locality is not so safe to roam at night
