Dislikes
- The teacher can be a bit moody and might be little be scary
- The rules and regulations are very strict like you will be kicked out of college if you were not wear a tie
- The sem feels like it’s being rushed and it’s really going fast because the teachers had very limited time in even sem
Course Curriculum Overview
The aspects that helped me chose my course is my family and friends mainly family because we have a family business. The curriculum includes various subjects and are not only BBA oriented and are slo society oriented like community engagement and technological oriented like python , tabuloo , power bi,etc. improvement would be nothing much proooy reduce the workload a little bit . The timings of the exams are quite alright which again changes every sem
Internships Opportunities
Until now since I'm only 2 nd year and 4th sem we didn't have any interaction regards to placements but we have to a internship in the summer vacation ie between second and third year and it has to be done compulsorily.
Placement Experience
From 5 th sem students are eligibility for campus placements and few companies are D.E. Shaw, Goldman , Deloitte, Accenture , Birla , etc are offers are really common and almost everyone gets a placement and the highest package that happened this year was 15 lakhs and average is around 6-7 lakhs and around 70% of the students get placements and my plans after degree are to pursue further studies
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee is 2,20,000 rupees for BBA and caution is 5000 and registration fees are 1000 and these are the final fees you would paying regard to academics and in case in future any thing like industrial visit comes up then you have to pay around 1000 more and also there are more scholarships that are available for students for example we had. Very famous scholarship called hope scholarship and it is one of many.coming other course like BSC EMS the fees is only 100000 because of the difficulty of the course and because it's less popular. BA ECO costs like 1,20,000. The price of the course keeping changing based on different events like if you are a Karnataka local or Indian or NRI so it changes like and the price increases in the above order . And it remains the same for your period of course
Campus Life
So Christ has so many events like literally every month on or the another huge events keeping happening so annual events include magnificant, annual sports meet , CUBYSPO, inara , cele fiesta , Darpan, blossoms , open day , nirta, and many other events are they all usually they had a fixed time but they mostly happen in time from nov to march and events like darpan happen from July.the library is quite huge and if you don't find a book you want if you ask the librarian and if the book is accepted by a faculty then they buy the book and is in library by 10 days usually and classrooms are quite huge and neat and we have a digital classroom. Sports and extracurricular are given importance and there is an entire department dedicated to sports called Dpe and they make sure each sport is getting what they need . There are many student run clubs and any student can make their own club after getting a permission from the teachers and the impact of clubs on students is really huge
Admission
I had applied for Jain university, Woxsen university , presidency university , Manipal university , and lastly symbiosis university and also Christ university. I've gotten into all universities and I chose Christ because of its reputation. The admission process at Christ is it starts with an exam then you have a personal interview and the like session where they give you a topic and you are supposed to speak on it and if you get admitted then you will get email saying you have been given admission.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio in BBA is usually 1:75 but coming to other courses it can be like 1:54 or something similar to that and coming to the relationship the teachers or the faculty are very kind and they will answer any question you have and also you can always visit their cabin and ask for any questions that you have and also take their advise .I found Malika ma'am as a really good teacher she used to us cost accounting and management and she taught that subject exceptionally. Another faculty would be the HOD of BBA dept he's name is Srinivas sir and he teaches marking management really good. We have a teacher named dakshayani ma'am and she is nice but she is a little bit unaware of the subject she is teaching us so that's one teacher I'm not very found of. Since the subjects change every sem and approach to each subject also change it's very difficult to determine how many exams are there in are so usually it's 2-3 exams for BBA and around 6-5 exams for few courses like ems and eco. Exams are centralised and have moderate level difficulty around 8 in 100 fail the exam. And the course curriculum is very diverse and provides a lot of knowledge
Interview Experience
We didn't have GD but we had micro presentation where they give you a topic and you have to give a small presentation on that topic. The test pattern is similar to those of other exams and the criteria is anyone with 69% aggregate percentage in 12th and I just studied 12 and 11 syllablus for exams and interview
Night Life
They are many places to go out for night like clubs and also restaurants like like plan B and hostel timings are usually 10:30 but can be extended . Few famous places are plan b , br, subway , Starbucks , kitty co , badmaash, wtc
