Remarks

There are many positive things you will get from here the infrastructure and the labs are really pretty good you will enjoy the greenery and cleanliness in the campus the faculties are really friendly and anyone will enjoy there college life to the fullest

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculim is good you have 5 main subjects and 1 additional subject in which theoritical practical both subjects are there minimum 3 subjects with practicals are there. First there is an practical external and then theory paper of 70 marks

Ofcourse there are placement and job opportunities here you can get recruitment in a very good company as per your skills and knowledge you will get opportunity from many small to big multi national company like tcs cognizant byjus

There are many technical and cultural events that are celebrated every 2-3 months the most important of all the event is the tech fest that is organized once every year it is a 3 day program which has many programs including sports technical gaming singing dancing and many other things

The fee structure is feasible as compared to many other colleges the fees is as per the mp govt. Norms in which day boarding fees include bus fees + tuition fees and boarding has mess and hostel fees....

There is many scholarship facilities for sc st obc castes but there is no scholarship available for unreserved you can take loan here from oriental bank of commerce and also you can get loan from any other bank

There are lot of extracurricular activities in our college there is a team of football cricket basketball volleyball and you can participate in nodal which happens every year for technical there are many laboratory present in our college

The alumni from here are pretty well placed and are enjoying there life further they have really enjoyed studying here... Seniors are good and friendly they will surely give you there experience and help you in any situation in college or outside

Admission

You can get admission directly on your 12th marks as well as from the ranking of iit jee and through mp counselling your 12th marks and jee ranking both are considered as per your ranking you can get your favourite stream

Faculty

Faculties are highly experienced and have a lot of knowledge on their subjects specially there teaching skill is very good i honestly loved some of the subjects because our faculty taught us pretty well.. And even they are very friendly to all the students

Simply outstanding

Placement Experience:

If we're talking about placements so students are eligible for placements from 7th semester. Many of companies came to my college to hier students and companies like yash technologies, wipro , infosys etc. Students get highest package of 12lpa and average package of 3lpa. 90% of students got placed and remaining 10% are those who didn't sit in placement and some of them who want to do higher studies. My plan is to get a good job at a good position in a reputed company

Placement Experience:

The college placement is quite average upto 14 15 lakh.there are so many companies like Infosys. Etc visited for placement every year. Students became eligible for internship in 5th semester and wil get placement in 4th year.i planned to became successful software engineer.

Placement os this college is quite decent as compare to other iiits .i thinkl from 6th smester students become eligible for placements . name of companies include atlassian , zomato, synosin, etc came. As per the iiitbhopal website 2025 placements ; the highest package is 85lpa and the avg is 15lpa . and 85 percent people is got placed . my plans after getting degree is looking for high paying job as i have invested too much money on this degree.

After the vivid there we see a lack of placement opportunities in branches . But , Because of college reputation you will easily get hired in various companies offcampus for high branches . There is lack of opportunities in core branches . Although the avarage package offered is about 4lpa to 6lpa for higher branches and a highest is about 52 lpa (2 years ago) . After getting the degree mostly students go for masters and also in IIT's or NIT'S for higher studies .

Choosing a college is a major decision, and for many students OIST Bhopal, the choice often comes down to abalance between legacy, regional repution, and practical constraints. Students typically compare OIST with other top private colleges in Madhya Pradesh such as LNCT or VIT Bhopal. My rank falls in the 1.5 Lakh to 5 Lakh range, OIST becomes a primary choice. It offers the same RGPV degree as the government colleges but with a more structured trainig program for private placements. The admission process is centralized and follows the guidelines of the Directorate of Technicial Education(DTE), Madhya Pradesh. Qualifying exams: 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics(PCM). OIST Bhopal is an outstanding institute!
