Course Curriculum Overview

5

We were taught relevant subjects in today's times like artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, NLP, etc. The curriculum starts from basic and there are mini projects for each sem which helps in applying our skills to real world problems. There should be a little less focus on theoretical concepts. There are 3 internals in each sem , and are 1 hr 30 mins for 50 marks. They are not hard.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 1,01,026 as my college tuition fees. This is the entire amount that needs to be paid. I got in through KCET. (General category) There is a registration fee of 20,000 and a lab fee of 2,000. Both of them are one time payments only. For management students, the fee is around 2.5 lakhs per year. For others, (SC&ST) it can be till 50,000 There are many scholarships for underprivileged students that are offered to people with defence backgrounds and parental income of less than 4 lakh a year.

Campus Life

5

There are Spardha, a sports event and various other events that happen every year. The library is well equipped with all books and latest journals. The classrooms have smart boards, projectors and they work well. There are teams for all sports like chess, basketball, cricket, kabaddi, khokho, football, badminton, etc There are many literary, singing, dancing, drama, theatre, coding clubs.

Admission

I had applied to this college only. I got rejected from PESU, RVCE as my rank wasn't enough for the branch I wanted. I was looking for technical branches only. You can get in through KCET, COMEDK or management. For CSE, the rank should be around 8,000-9,000 for general category students in KCET. And for the same branch through COMEDK, it should be around 7,000 The overall admission process was extremely fast and smooth

Faculty

The ratio is 1:40 mostly. The faculty members are very nice, supportive and understanding. They take into account our health and mental well being really well. They are always ready to help us when we need them. They are extremely approachable through text as well as face to face. My favourite teacher was Preeti Gupta ma'am. She taught organic chemistry and was brilliant. She provided very good notes and taught very well. I got 100 in chem in finals because of her. I like all my professors except for one, he left the college now. There are 3 internals and 1 final exam for each semester. The internals last around 3 days. They are not difficult and easy to pass. About 2-3 fail at times. The course is recently updated and based on 2021 scheme.

Night Life

5

The college is in a very area and there is everything available around. Hostel timings are such that they have to be in the room by 7:30pm. There is Asha tiffins,Ironhill, Brookfield mall, pvr, sansar supermarket nearby.
