Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course B.Sc Aeronautics is involved in aircraft and helicopter which influenced my decision to choose the course. The exams timings are less suitable for students. But the difficulty level is medium.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are lots of companies which provide internship opportunities for students and the stipend is based on the performance and skills of the student. Projects are scheduled by the faculty members at departmental level.

Placement Experience

5

In the end semester students become eligible for campus placements. CISCO followed closely with an offer of rupees 24 lakhs. Other notable offer included rupees 8 lakh from Optum, rupees 16 lakhs from McKinley rice, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of B.Sc Aeronautics in Jamia Millia Islamia is 130000. The Tuition yees is 121000 rupees, Examination fees 1000 rupees, Library caution money 500 rupees, Admission fees 100 rupees and others charges is 7400 rupees. There are many categories in Jamia Millia Islamia like General, Muslims cota, Girls cota, but the fees is same for all the categories in my course. There are many scholarships like Jamia scholarships and others online platform scholarships which are sufficient for College fees. The Jamia Millia Islamia provide best financial support for students.

Campus Life

5

There is no held throughout the year. The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library is very wide. The facility and technological provisions are better for self finance courses compare to others.

Hostel Facilities

4

The Wi-Fi facility, ventilated rooms and neet rooms are available in hostels. The meal quality and the menu is very dynamic and there is also no repeatable meal. Registration process is followed by online and also panel interview of students.

Admission

I chose this college over other colleges because Jamia Millia Islamia ranked 3rd among top universities in the National Institutional Ranking framework (NIRF). JMI rank 206th in the Asia category of QS world university ranking. • The admission process of my college involves an entrance and CUET scores and councelling is done accordingly.

Faculty

5

There are more than 800 faculty members per 22000+ students. It has 9 facilities, 39 department, and 30 centers of excellence and research. The faculties of my course is very supportive and helpful for all the curriculum activities. The exams of my course is easy to difficult level and only few students fails.

Night Life

4

The Gym of sports complex is available only for sports cota students. Hostels are great spots for evening hangouts and students also hangouts around library in campus, and other hangouts place outside the university ir community center as known as CC.

Placement Experience:

Gargi, like most other delhi colleges, has a standard placement cell. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards, but most requirements happen during the final year. The companies that visit are primarily ed tech based ventures or marketing, HR firms and sales firms. A few that have collaborated over the year has been EY, Decathlon, Urban Company, Deloitte and so on. in terms of packages, the highest that had been around 15-17lpa, and the average package is 4-5lpa. About 20-30% of the batch gets placed during placement interviews while many try to pursue other opportunities or off-campus venues.

Placement Experience:

One can easily view the placement statistics of our college on their website. The placement cell of the college manages the placement process. On first glance, it appears impressive. But most of the placements are in similar fields of commerce like consulting or finance, followed by Arts and Science courses getting the least amount of placements. I personally have no faith in my course getting me any placement. So I'm preparing for government exams anyways.
