Course Curriculum Overview

4

The information science and technology department seems to get 3 degree certificates after their graduation, one being ise, cse and information technology, which is really helpful for us in our placement times. The ise department is comparatively more comfortable and stress free than other departments in our college. Some courses are really good in our department while some other subjects are really of no use at all. The teaching methods of teachers needs to be scrutinized and checked, the students feedbacks need to be seen atleast once by the department head and go the needed changes for the department betterments. The frequency of internal exams are perfect not making us stressed by having heavy load to study as we have 3 internal exams rather than 2.

Internships Opportunities

3

I don't much idea about the internships in our college But there's a company called ethnotech tied up with our college which gives internships to every student who does not have any internships done till 7th semester.

Placement Experience

4

The college placement for hear 2024 seems to be good compared to some colleges surrounding our college or which are similar to ours. Normally for placements student from 6th sem are eligible and for intership it's compulsory for 5th sem students to have an intership. Some companies like tech Mahindra, Accenture, cognizant ,Infosys and some other companies have visited so far. I don't have much idea about packages but it seems to be that 5 lakh is common and 6 lakh is rare and above that is not expected from college placements. There are many companies visiting but it seems ks that 2025 graduating students are not doing so well in their placement exams, so many companies go back empty handed rather than picking some students for jobs. I would ideally get placed in some company or go for further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 2.1 lakh as a comedk student in the first year and it has been reduced for the second year fees Tution fees of 2.1 lakh is paid by me and other 2100 rupees as a exam fees. 1.5 lakh for some students and 1 lakh for some other students 6 lakh as management Ssp scholarship are given by government but I don't think so our college gives any other personal scholarship

Campus Life

4

There are typically 2 fests in our college, one being bgs utsav which is a very big fest and other are department fests dome together which uses students efforts more than college efforts. There are many online and offline books that our college provides but personally I have never check them. There are some smart boards and projectors in every class which are effectively used by our teachers. There are many sport and other events which students can participate in. There are many student clubs and groups too.

Admission

I applied to other colleges like RNSIT, JSSATE. I specifically chose this college as I got to know the dept hod was nice with the students and supported students which is totally not true, he always support s the teachers even though they are wrong on their parts. The cutoff of comedk exams were much more in other colleges so I had to join this college itself. The admission process in our college is pretty much very easy Just had to fill some forms and pay the fees, the cuttoffs in our college have recently changed so I have no idea about it now.

Faculty

3

There seems to be really low amount of teachers who are actually interest in teaching, most of them just do it as a task checklist. Savitha ma'am from chemistry department is a really good mentor and also pushpa ma'am from maths department Other programming languages teachers are good but not as effecient and concerned about us as them Manu sir is really knowledgeable and has proper idea about placements and programming languages He gives some really good advices in terms of jobs and placements and other private courses. There are many teachers we don't like, not comfortable sharing their names There are 3 internal assessment and 1 final exam per semester, the evaluation seems to be lineant and comforting as it is an autonomous college, the exam difficulty level is also mid. There are some courses which makes no sense to study in our future career.

Night Life

3

There are some cafes in our campus but none of them are good in terms of facility and taste. Our college campus opens between 8:00am to 6:00pm. Nescafe is one of the most known place in our college. I don't have personally know about other nightlife in our college

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly I don't a thing about the relevance of the curriculum, this curriculum thingy has been changing every now and then in our college I hope atleast they stick to one curriculum and make us study that and don not change it further. As I've mentioned before, I was not informed in prior about the syllabus so obviously there's no specifi aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. I think the curriculum will prepare me to face the world way more wisely and strategically than how I'd deal with it otherwise. I think one area they can improve is in physics, they can give us more seminars, projects and stuff to check our understanding. That would really help a lot of people to be creative and help people to get the exposure. Coming to the difficulty level of the paper, I know nothing because I haven't written the sem exam yet so, I know nothing. But, can guarantee one thing!! Be careful, cause as per sources our college is known for it's tough question paper, so y'all better study.

In UVCE placement rate is almost good but we need more effort on self study . Most of the students works in internship in 7 or 8 th sem it means before graduation then they will got good placements. Some of you directly god good placements without working in internship.. Because putting there efforts..
