About my college

Syllabus is well organised and faculties are also having well known about subjects. practical knowledge about topic is also given by the faculties. Their aim is to give students all the real world application about the subject. Each class hour is 1 hr and frequent breaks are given considering students attention time. Teaching methods including teaching using ppt, topic related videos, notes, reference text etc,

The overall fee for the course bsc psychology is 85655 for 3 yrs( six semesters). For the first semester is 19,995.For the second semester the fee is 12,550. For the semesters 3 to 6, the fees are 13,980, 12,550, 14,030 and 12,550. This semester fees include library fee, tuition fee, sports fee etc. The caution deposit is 2000 rupees and it is given back when we receive T.C. Assistance for Post matric National scholorship and other related scholorships are provided by the management. Fees are different for other courses like hotel management, BBA, Bcom etc., it is more comparing to Bsc psychology.

Cultural and arts festivals are the best programmes. Also there will be christmas onam and other festival celebrations. A lot of interdepartmental programmes are also there. In the library there is a huge collection of books ans a new library is under construction. In classroom there is smart tv and also blackboard. The students itself can access the smartboard for their seminar presentations and all. Sports and arts will be held very nicely. They support the blooming talents in the campus.

I applied to many colleges but at that time there was some problems in the allotment process so i got late to get called by colleges. By that time i took admission for bsc psychology in yuvakshetra college. I applied im Victoria college for psychology, physics, botany, zoology etc, same in other colleges like govt. College chittur, Nss ottapalam, Nss nenmara, mercy college,etc. I got call from these colleges very after i took admission in yuvakshetra so i didn't joined there. In my college there is interview process just an interaction with the director but i hadn' t have it because i was late to take admission in my college. As my college is calicut university affiliated exams is based on calicut university timetable.

Faculty members are highly qualified and they are very friendly to the students. The college is affiliated to calicut university. The best faculties are Fr Jimmy Akkatu, HOD of department of psychology and Vishal sir and Sreekumar sir, both are malayalam faculties, Sneha miss, English faculty and Mahesh sir, faculty of mathematics department. Exams are conducted by calicut university. It is the one of the best university in kerala. Exams are well organised and evaluation is also strict. Syllabus is also calicut university' s. There are a lot of Faculties for each department. And they provide proper classes.

Actually there is no nightlife there. The college will be closed after 6.hostelers also can't roam around the campus. But if any late night programmes are happening we can stay there.i don't know about the closing time about gym, but for library it is 5.30pm. As i was not a hosteler i am not sure about the hostel in and out timings. Campus is safe to roam as there are several security staffs there.
