About Dibrugarh university

The course is up to date and it includes remote sensing and GIS hence i choose it. The curriculum gave us practical knowledge about analysing Earth. There are two in-term sessional exam one occurred in September and one in November and the finals week starts from December.

I didn't join any internships because i am a 1st sem student. So i don’t any knowledge regarding this. I don’t done any projects since the date of our admission because i m new to the campus. But i can assure that you will get a great uni life here..

In our university, the admission fees for per year in my course is 16760 and per semester admission fees is approximately 12k..it includes all other fees like tuition fees, caution fees, lab fees extra..the exam form fillup fees is nearly 1700 per sem. Our university provides financial assistance of 2k/m for the needy students..and we can apply all other scholarship like NSP and UGC. Also authorities reduct the 50% admission fees for the students of centres because we have to pay more than the departments..Here , I studies in centre for studies in geography hence my admission fees are above mentioned, if you are going to study on a department you will get free admission according to selected criteria(family income less than 2 lakhs/annum) otherwise you have to pay a sum of 6000 in admission

There are too many annual events occurs in university. I dont know the name specifically. But from the admission date to today there are more than 10 cultural events occurred and fun fair was also conducted by university. The library is huge but there is less sources. The classrooms has all needed facilities. There are so many student run social groups

2 persons per room. 70/100 The hostel was alloted by the departments at the time of admission and the hostel admission fees is 3k per annum and mess fees is 1900 per month. The rooms , bathrooms, dining hall are in a good conditions

I got confirmed admission in NEHU, Cotton university and others too..but i select this due to their good academic results and quality. Here, an entrance exam conduct for admissions. 100 marks exam conducted by them for admission process and the seat capacity is low

The faculty and students relationship is very fine and they are very friendly with students. I can't mention names there's but all the faculties are very good in thier own way. The exams are pretty tough but everyone can pass it with hardword and dedication.

I usually don't go to hangouts and late night activities hence i don't have any knowledge regarding this.. but i know that the gym has all equipments and there are more the 3 cafeterias in university, the in time of our hostel is 9 pm
