Likes

Faculty's were good and teaching were awesome clearly understandable and friendly
Placement is high for CSE IT ECE dept. Rest less only
Computer labs were good with internet facility provided

Dislikes

Poor construction of buildings and road damaged
Internet tower is very bad and signal strength is low
As it is autonomous semester duration is very short some of the teacher not completing portions

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is better It make up to cover the engineering knowledge 1st year curriculum is overall mixed of all dept so we understand the basics of all dept engineering And teaching methods way of conducting tests also good

Internships opportunities we have to seek if we want better companies My college has atal incubation center they provide internship but mostly not do all go outside and do different it companies But projects were given

Placement Experience

Placement was good or better Those who have skill can place many companies like hcl Infosys one bill tcs ninja Accenture toshiba in a class 60 students means avg 40 students place Remainimg go for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees=164000 Josaa students pay =164000 per year Centac students who got merit rank and selected under pondicherry govt pay For first year=35,800 2nd 3rd 4th=13,851 Semester fees will be collected before semester depending upon the course

Campus Life

Overall cultural activities were good and sports they conduct tournament yearly so tht all can participate and develop extra curricular activities as well as many clubs were there like photography club ,design club,ai club

Admission

My aim was to read In NIT Puducherry as my josaa score is low i not got admission through centac 2nd round i got smvec private college cse but there was strict like school so I applied 3rd round for ptu I got IT so I selected this college

Faculty

Faculty's and students are well connected Faculty's were friendly and help with students By giving assignment and guide them for placements Some of the faculty's won't award internal marks Exams are moderate it is little bit tough because no books provide we itself should read

Night Life

Library was too good we can read my books which we want and transport facility were good cafe also good as well as food provide in hostel and timing is mrng 9am to evening 5pm Hostels were safety boys hostel seperate and girls seperate

Know About Puducherry Technological University

Placement Experience:

By 7th Semester, students are eligible for Campus Placements and there are several companies that have visited our college during a course of 2-3 months and there were many offers made, highest package was of 9.5 LPA and the average is of 5-6LPA Students are getting Placed very well, and i have place already so my plan is to get into the job and excell in the IT Sector

I got into SMVEC First, after a month later, i got into my current college PTU in which everything was better than SMVEC, SMVEC is a lot more like a school, while PTU is more like a college where the staffs dont consider about any rules, but they be on time and perfect when it comes to studies.
