Remarks

Positive, actually positivity, they helped us to be a man from a boy. We are now doing very well in our lives , we are tough now , only because of this college what we are now today. Though there is only one negativity that is internal mark.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

This course is of 4 years while you have to clear 8 semesters. Every semester you have 6 or 7 subjects that means total of 50 subjects. In between the semester there is a mid semester examination, from which the authorities provide our internal marks. There's a criteria of 75 % of attendance then you can sit in examinations.

Placement Experience

4

There's a placement cell in the college, who helps students to get job into the local companies and helps them to find information of other jobs. Yes, this college provides internship at govt. and private sectors. I was a trainee under the Irrigation department for 30 days on 4 Th semester and in the department of PWD NH at 6th semester. I accumulated so much knowledge from this two internship.

College Events

4.5

Gomseng , which is a festival at the day of ethnic day. All students wear the clothes related to their culture. And there is a technology festival of 1 week every year on January which includes sports also. We celebrate Engineers day, science day etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In the time of admission you have to pay 10,000rs to book seat. Which is refundable. Then you have 55,000rs per semester is the fee. It's not too much expensive comparing to other Engineering colleges. So it is feasible may be.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes I availed scholarship from the minority ministry department, the college is eligible for the scholarship. They also provides scholarships to OBC, ST, SC students of the college. You have to clear every semester exam to get the scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

We played on our hostel play ground. We use to have 6 cricket teams with whom we played League cricket. Every department has their sperate lab facilities and lab teachers. There's a football ground also in our college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, I was in hostel. That was the best Part of our college. Though the food is the pain in the ass but every other facility they provides us in the hostel. They provide free WiFi to everyone and TV facility also .

Alumni/Alumna

Yes our seniors were helpful to us. And there's a alumni community of us . Seniors helped us during college days and also now to gather different kind of knowledge about the course. There's a college community page also in Facebook where we connect each other.

Faculty

4

We have some of best facilities at our college, but also 2, 3 bad also. Though everyone will take care of, help you in your studies also with your personal problems. Some of faculties lives there in hostel with students that is the best part. You can go to them with a problem at any time and they will try hard to solve your problems. Everyone is very generous.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not really good in our college, it is more of a research institute so it mainly focuses on PhD as PhD strength is good. Higher education is more prefered here but placement scenario is also good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant and is different for different branches according to their needs. I was interested in civil engineering and chose the course and find the curriculum intersting and relevant for me . The curriculum offers subject which are important for real world applications, like in civil engineering it's offers subjects like building construction, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, material testing, serving, etc. The course curriculum is very good but the teaching methods needs improvement like more digitalization . The exams frequency and timings are neither too late nor too early, they are perfectly planned and executed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There exists a good teaching staff that's why the course is very easy to understand also teachers give us good examples also do practicals so that's students understand the course easily . I see that there exist a low no of equipments in practical lab compare to it's students ratio so if they have a good no of equipments then all students get equipment to do experiment without any waste of time . Time is good as compare to marks and the first 30 marks are beginner level the other 40 marks are intermediate level and the remaining 30 Marks are advanced level questions in a question paper for the students they published.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is quite good, with several reputed companies like General Electric, Power Grid Corporation of India, Goldman Sachs, among others recruiting 94 percent of the students in the college. The placement takes place in three rounds, one testing one's aptitude, followed by an hour round, finally leading on to a technical round. Mock interview and job cracking sessions are organized regularly, both by the departments, and also the Training and Placement Cell, to prepare students for the interviews and examinations going forward. The Training and Placement Cell also provides internship opportunities at the end of third year for the students, based on their aptitude and abilities

Remarks:

I have mostly positive remarks about college except for the fact that the college is situated really far from mainstream north India. Train connectivity is not that strong to rest of country. But despite that the college is extremely good in the sense of learning, meeting new innovative minds, and of course placements and jobs.
