Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course is Electronics and telecommunication , its all about electronic ciruit, devices , VLSI, Chip designing but college mostly teach theory , labs are very out dated so needs to learn by your own You have to learn practical by your own from yt or google because college teaches very fews things limited to syllabus exam takes place each week and its each 20 marks each paper

Internships Opportunities

3

There is no specific internship things but students can work under teacher as internship Students can work under a project with there teacher sometimes it is unpaid Otherwise student needs to apply by there own

Placement Experience

3

Placement is not that good, there are many students but few gets job there may be many reasons like some prepares for gov exams, some goes abroad , some joins parent business and some prepare for GATE Companies like jio, infosys, wipro , tcs, etc.. visit campus and offers package aound 3lpa avg highest was 37lpa in 2015 After getting degree i will prepare for gov exam

Fees and Financial Aid

1. Year wise fees is 132000 for general , i am SC so my fees is 768rs For OBC fees is like half and for SC/ST its 768s ie development fees 2. Scholarship available is of gov of maharashtra where you need to apply(whole process is been explained by teacher) its only for OBC, SC/ST

Campus Life

4

In college many activities takes place each week where any student from any year can participate everything is funded by college The library is huge with good seating space, library contains many books but its mostly consist of technical books Each clasroom has a huge digital board for teaching There are many clubs like aerospace , ieee, itsa ,etsa, gdse where student can take part There is also sport facilities available for students like football, cricket, volleyball, etc

Admission

I took this is college because i was not getting other college as i got 89%ile in cet , also i think i didnt filled the college ranking form correctly there were many good option vjti, dj sanghvi, thakur but its ok now because what i think college doesnt matter let it be IIT, you need to study by yourself college doesnt care about your future My college accept jee , cet marks lowest is around 70-75%ile for biomedical branch

Faculty

4

Faculty are good with student, they solve all doubts. Faculty to student ratio is good. I like mostly all my faculty as they are supportive , some are strict First year is mostly same for all first year student subjects like maths, physics ,chem , logic circuit and 1 extra cirricular subject is been taught each subject has theory and practical except maths , from second year their core subjects come into picture Each week there is exam calles MSE(mid sem exam) there are 3 mse per subject each sem out of which best of 2 and its avg is considered. exams are very easy to clear, hardly someone fails to clear

Night Life

4

College timings are 8-6, but students can take permission and stay in college till 9-10 or a full day college has canteen and nescafe which is little expensive , food quality is not that good but ok There is no hostel facility in college

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
