This curriculum is for those PCB and PCMB students who choose to pursue their career in engineering and medical field together. With this course there are more chances of being in research fields and being at job in good pharmacy and biotech companies. The level of examination is Easy to moderate. Students just need to focus on the materials that faculties provide to crack the college examination and also this materials are enough for GATE examination

From the Sixth semester students become eligible for placements that is From 3rd year. Companies like Amazon, IBM, Akash and many other biotech companies are the companies visited and so many placements are made in this college every year. Highest package for computer engineering is 8LPA and average is 4-5LPA and for biotechnology highest package is 6LPA and average is 3-4LPA. After btech biotech I wish to do the masters by cracking GATE examination and a PhD

If we talk about the fees structure it is very much affordable as it is 42k per semester and 84000 per year including library fees and examination fees. Here the registration fees is 10k and the library fees is around 8k which is included in the fees of whole year. The scholarship program begins from the second year. Students having CGPA higher than 8.5 or 9 recieve a scholarship from the college reducing their college fees. Here the cut off is very less for SC ST categories and a defence quota is also applied reducing ur semester fees upto 4-5k

There is an IAR Fest in which there are various cultural activites dance programs DJ nights and mannyy other sports activities competitions and esports. All the reference books are available in the library and also so many magazines are available. The library is also very good and spacious . There are 18 labs for biotechnology students and the range of extracurricular activities are so high and wide. There are so many clubs which you can join like Kalabhoomi, Enviornmental club, esports club, Computer society and etc which can entertain you throughout the time period of your college time

Hostel has three sharing rooms three time food breakfast, lunch and dinner. A bit conjusted rooms but yaa we can survive in it. Non AC rooms. Meal quality is good and menu is also different food for all days. For college hostel we have to register through college and is very much affordable. The fees is 108000 per year. But I live in Darsh hostel just opposite to my college at a walking distance which has fees 1,80,000 three sharing AC rooms

The reason I chose this college over other colleges is that this was affordable and in fact The btech Biotechnology course was started in Gujarat for the very first time by Institute of advanced research gandhinagar so here there are more experienced faculties for Btech Biotechnology and it was the best college for biotechnology and microbiology and biomedical courses. Other colleges like PDEU AND NIRMA were available to me but the fees were too high to afford by a middle class family. Mode of admission is that u can directly get your admission through IAR portal on the basis of JEE, GUJCET and 12th standard marksheet or by ACPC according to the cutoff

So the faculties of IAR are so cooperative and friendly that u can have good interactive sessions with them and also u can openly go and discuss any of your prblms to them. The approach of all the faculty member towards the students is good and. They are always available for their students. Some of the best faculties for btech in IAR are of subjects BEEE, Engineering physics and AI for engineers. So the exam structure is there is a mid semester exam , End semester practical exam and End semester theory exam. In between all subjects have 2 assignments and lab records have to be submitted during end practical exams

So the gym of the college closes at 8pm and the other outside gyms closes at 10pm. The in timings of hostel are 9pm. There are so many hangout spots like just near the college is signature where students hangout a lot and Elixir where most of the students hangout with their friends and in elixir there are lot of cafeterias where they can refresh
