Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our college conduccts B.Tech. Computer Engineering course well. All the necessary facilities are provided to the students. My only purpose of taking this cource is that I want to move forward in cyber security. That is why i have taken admission in this ccollege for better future. so, every profrssor here is teaching B.Tech. Computer Engineering cource well. However, if any improvement is needed, then only the subjects in the cource can be started to be understand in details.

Internships Opportunities

4

Since it is a developing college, the internship and placement figures are still low, but with time, there will be a lot of improvement. Since I am a new student, I still have no idea which company came and took student for placement.

Placement Experience

4

Since our college is still developing, very modest placement packages are aavailable. So, the highest package in our college is 11LpA and the average package is 4-5 LpA. Most of students get placed and get good job. Some sstudents believe in starting their own business after getting a degree. More thaan 100 companies come to our college for placement. About 75% of the students can get good placement. After getting my B.Tech. degree from this college, my plan is to go towards the Cyber Security the suitable placement provided by the ccollege or i will find an off-campus placement on my own.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for the first year of B.Tech computer engineering in Institute of Advance Research (Gandhinagar) is 1,04,000/-INR. In which other charges are also taken into this fees. Other charges like examination fee, security deposit, library deposit, ect. The fees remain the same for every year. In which if we calculate the total fee, the tution fee is 44500/- INR per semester. That is, 89000/- INR per year. In which there is 7000/- INR security deposit and 1000/- INR library deposit which has to be paid in the first year itself for 4 years and it is refundable after the completion of the cource. There is 7000/- INR examination fee which is mandatory every year. The college does not charges category wise, every category students has to pay the same fee, TFWS category students gets relif in tution fee. Students of our college may be eligible for Gujarat Government and other scholarships, and students who score above 80% in the semester exam from the college start getting a scholarship of a certain percentage of the fees

Campus Life

5

My experiance with college has very good. The campus here is very neat andd clean. The staff takes care of it every day. There are facilities like proper class for study, gardens, sitting areas, cafeteria, library, playground, different types of lab, project areas, etc. Various types of clubs are rrunby the professors and students. There are clubs like dance, singing, programming, gaming, music, photography, writing, NCC, event management etc. Students can join them and participate in various events and enjoy themselves.

Hostel Facilities

5

However the campus is so good, then the hostel must also be good. There is one room and 2-3 sharing rooms in the hostel. In which students are given their personal bed, study table, chair, switch board, etc. And many other facilities are provided. The annual fee of the ostel is 1,20,000/- INR. Delicious and nutrious food is served here in the mosning, afternoon, evening and night. Students like the food here very much. Registration for the hostel is very easy, just pay diposit to confirm bed and then pay fee to get bed. Since there are limited beds in the college hostel, many students live in hostels or PGs in surrounding areas.

Admission

I don't have any special reason to take this college because i have chosen this college bassed onn my ACPC merit rank. However, before confirming admission in this college, I liked the Faculty, Facilities and the Beauty of the Campus in this ccollege more, so i chosen this college. Since i took admission through ACPC, there was no chance of rejection. I directly chose this college and did not applied any other colleges. The admission process of our college is also simple and easy. The admission committee here is doing its job very well. Here, admission is given based on the ACPC merit rank as well as directly. At the time of admission, 20,000/- INR is taken as admission fee, which is deductedd from the anual fee later on. In year 2025, the ACPC cut-off was ~22000 in the first round. For direct admission, you need to have more than 60% in your Gujarat Board Exam

Faculty

5

In our college, trained professors of every subject work to provide education. They behave very friendly with the students and help the students in their studies and any other problems. Among our professors, we like 2 professors very much. One is our Anargha Madam of Chemistry and Apoorv Joshisir of English. They are very friendly with us. Their teaching mathods is very good and understandable so that students like more to sit in their lectures. There is no professor that we do not like because every professor teaches well. We have Mid-Sem Exam once in semester and End-Sem Exam one. Mid-Sem Exam is of 20 marks per ssubject and End-Sem Exam is of 80 marks. The examination method is very simple. Each professor checks the ansswers in the supplement in a very practical way.

Night Life

5

I don't live in the college hostel but i have often heared from our friends who live there that they feel very safe and comfortable here at night. The surrounding areas are also safe and good. Watchmen protect the campus and warden is always available for the hostel. Since our college located onn the bank of Sabarmati river, most of the students spend their time near the river bank. Students also go to the cafeteria, library and garden to pass their time. After 8 PM studenta are not allowed to go out of the campus. if they have to go out, they are allowed to do so with the permission of the warden.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well-strutured and covers fundamental concepts in a clear and systematic manner. As a first-semester student I found the subjects helpful in building a strong base for futher studies. The syllabus balances theory with practical exposure which helps in understanding real-worls applications.Faculty members explain concept clearly, through adding more hands-on projects and industry-oriented topics would make the curriculum even better.Overall the curriculum is relevent comprehensive and suitable for beginners but it can be improved with more practical sessions and updated content aligned with current industry trends.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.
