A decent college with a good degree to provide

Course curriculum is very good at niser and are comparable to some foreign institutes. There are world class facilities available for you and the labs are the main insights here. But you have to be somewhat attentive regarding your exams as exams are easy to moderate level.

The internship opportunity in niser very good as compared to other colleges as you will also get 20000/- if you do summer internship in niser or you can apply in other colleges too. You can also get internship opportunity in foreign universities also

The fees per semester for 1st time is around 17000 but after that every semester the fees will be around 10000 which includes hostel fees,etc.But it did not includes mess fees as ther are canteens which are chargeable depending on food you eat. Additionally you get 5000/- rs per month as a scholarship also if your boards percentile are good then you will also eligible for disha scholarship

There are many facilities fests held in niser like UMANG which was held recently in September. The library is one of the main assets of niser because of the money niser invest to purchase book and journals and students can access it very easily. Sports is taken very seriously in niser,you will find cricket ground, football ground, badminton court,etc. and all sports are available and IISM(INTER IISER SPORTS MEET) is a sports event where all niser, iisers iisc and cebs participates. There are various clubs like astrology, mathematics,coding, photography,etc which will keep you engaged.

You can't live in pg or rent rooms as it strict on rule that you have to stay in hostels You will get double occupancy rooms till 3rd year and after that single occupancy rooms For girls different hostel is alloted ganga and kaveri.

I had also applied for IISER's but I chose niser over them due to its reputable state so I can pursue PhD from foreign institutes. Also one more thing I have seen many place that you can give direct interview in BARC after doing Msc but there is a twist that BARC has very low vacancies(1-2) so please don't consider that factor to join here. To join niser you need to give NEST exam so keep an eye on that and to crack it just solve pyqs it will be sufficient.

The faculty of niser are top class compared to other colleges and the faculty to student ratio is very good.They are very approachable and appreciate your doubt to help with. Every faculty is member is good here,there is no one you can't like. In one semester there will be mid and endsem and in one academic year there will be 2 semesters aside from this there will be quizzes and assignments.

There is a gym available which has every equipment you need to stay fit,there is a cafeteria inside which is very premium and good. There are many hostels with name bhagirathi,Krishna etc. Girls live in ganga and kaveri hostels Till 3rd year you will get double occupancy rooms and after that for 4th and 5th year you will get single occupancy room. The hostels are decent but the water is very bad considering other institutions and you can go anywhere till 10pm There are many places you can roam like meditation center, student activity centre(sac), community centre,etc but everyone's favourite is meditation center which is very beautiful area to spend time with.
