The course curriculum is relevant for the engineering course as they are laid out by the kerala technological university and is standard for every university. They also contain real world appilcation level problems which are solved in the form of projects. The frequency of exam is after every 6 months

Placement Experience

There are placements in our college with package from around 3- 4 lakh per annum .The companies mainly visiting include UST global, Tech mahindra , TCS etc.My plan after getting degree is to go for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee that I paid yearly was 75000 rs and the additional 5000 rs were added up for other expenses like lab fee, exam registration etc. The exam registration was arounf 2500 rs per semester and so for two semesters it will be around 5000 rs.There was management wise scholarships for academically brilliant students and I received a scholarship of 12000 rs per year where I should prove academic excellence and maintain an sgpa of 8.0 or above.

Campus Life

Tech fest is an annual fest where different colleges participate to show case their technological advancements .Clubs inlcude media, arts, dance, music, tech , etc. There are annual sports day happening in college.

Admission

I applied for this college as it is close to my house and so there is ease for travelling. Other colleges I chose was far away from my house.There is a state level entrance examination for the admission to the college which has a minimum cutoff the exam is called KEAM.

Faculty

The faculties are all friendly with pleasing nature and are well educated in their field of study.Biomedical and biotechnology department has more developed faculties in all arenas.Exams are conducted with two internals and one university exam each semester and repeats the same for every semester. The difficulty for the exam is average.

Night Life

There are 3 cafeterias around the college with gym and health clubs also.There are several hagout spots like a cafe where there are lots of tables within the trees.The locality is completely surrounded by fence and is safe for all people at anytime during the day.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

Remarks:

I loved my department. But some of the management decisions made bad impacts on students and they hate the college. Faculties were good. As I already said 4 to 5 professors were so good in teaching and rest of them makes the learning experience a nightmare.
