My experience in DBIT

Speaking about my experience why I choose the course because I feel IT gives you more practical experience with the IT Field. It gives you an overview about how actually the IT industry and technology works.

There are renowned companies like browserstack which offer internship and PPO opportunities in final year. Also as I spoke earlier there are some faculty members which provide internship opportunities and client projects which shape your skills.

As I spoke before, the placment opportunities are decent in my colleges. There are 3-5 product based companies that visit DBIT and take highly skilled students and offer 10+ lpa packages And rest all the other are service based companies that offer packages between 4-8 lpa Also speaking about the placment rate during my time and before it's approx 60-70 %

The fee structure is accordingly - 1,34,000 for open students 50% reservation benefits to obc students So after deducting the 50% from the actual fee my total fee per year becomes 78000 Also the fees for VJNT Students is approx 17000

There are lots of cultural events and sports events that take place in dbit which contribute to holistic growth of an individual. Namedly colouseum is the biggest tech and cultural event that takes place in dbit.

So my first choice was going to Pune. But unfortunately I didn't score that well in my CET as it got affected due to COVID phase. So upon the score I got in cet, I had options of going to Xavier's, DBIT, Atharva college of engineering and other low tier colleges . But on going through their placment records, I found out that DBIT had the most no of placed students with highest package of about 25 LPA . So upon comparing these factors , I decided to opt for DBIT

So speaking about my faculty members, I have got the best faculty in my college. The teachers are highly educated, professional and yet friendly and supportive. I remember about one of my faculty member, he gives good internship opportunities and client projects to the skillfull and bright students. This bridges the gap of not having that much internship opportunities.

Unfortunately there is no kind of nightife in dbit. Yeah but there are some hangout spots and chilling areas. There are two canteens in dbit - the old canteen and the new canteen. The new canteen is cool place to sit and chill with friends where you can play various games like carrom, chess , etc and enjoy the vibe of canteen.
