Course Curriculum Overview

3

I was interested in this topic or course which I choosed and it has very interesting topics in it which is very useful for further but the course which I opted and the subjects which I am learning is not at all relevant to the course or the lesson I want to learn so it's very bad

Internships Opportunities

2

There are various companies which comes for campus placement, big companies like TCS , Accenture, and small scale industries related to fields provided by the college , and the roles which is provided are every post which comes under manager.

Placement Experience

2

The sem required for students that are eligible for campus placement is from 6th sem onwards you are eligible to appear for campus placement and there are decent amount of companies which comes to our college like big companies TCS , Accenture , Capgemini , but the percentage of students getting placed is very less which is a bad part

Fees and Financial Aid

138000 per year for normal year students but for others like example girls there is half fees and now it's almost free for them And for Sc -St - it's just 4000 , which is pretty unfair Tution fees is 112000 approx and Development fees is 14000 And other fees is 2000 And then there are other fees like exam fees which is again almost 3000 , and then also kt fees which is 500 per subject And fees or normal students are paid sem wise like divided into 73000 and 56000 which is totally 138000 and campus is good , we also have college ground which is also good , and canteen is also decent with decent variety of food options.

Campus Life

3

Campus Life is decent not that level which I expected but decent but the library is very good with almost all categories of books required by a student for studying for university exam, and the social group made by students are pretty good and events are very awesome

Admission

I applied for variety of colleges which were over my marks which I scored guessing that I would get the college which I wanted but My marks were not that much till the cut off soo I got the college which I kept for the last option

Faculty

1

Faculty to student ratio is 1:10 which is very less and some faculty to student relationship is good but most of them are very bad which is good healthy for student as they get mental pressure for what faculty gives pressure to student unnecessarily and not at all supportive, there are total 2 sem in a year , and in 1 sem there are 2 units per sem , so total 2 sem exams and 4 internal assessment and oral and practical

Night Life

2

There's no night life like thing In our college and I don't exactly know about the college hostel which Is not good I guess and gym is there in college but not available to student which is very bad and don't know about campus in and out timing

Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
