The compulsion of attendance being 80% , had it been 75% it would be a little easier

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate 4/5 for the course that I chose. The approach is practical and precise. More examples & hands on experience with site visits would be much helpful to relate. The exams were appropriately difficult considerinh the course that I chose.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did my MBA from JIS college of engineering.The total fees that I had paid for the course was approx Rs.450000/-. The college also offered other courses like BBA, BCA, Engineering etc. The average fees was similar for other bcourses as well.

Campus Life

The faculties and colleagues beinbg cooperative & guiding, it was not tough for me to adjust and learn in this environment. The library was pretty elaborate with all kinds of books for all courses that JIS offered. The students who were interested in sports or student portals were encouraged.

Admission

Reviews from relatives and friends help me choose the college. No I havent faced any kind of rejection from any institutes that I had applied to. The only college that I had applied was infact JIS and luckily I got selected at one go. The admission process was direct.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio at my college JIS college of Engineering was around 1:40. As I mentioned earlier the faculties were quite profssional in their approach and provided required guidance that a student would require.The attendence compulsion being 85% they ensured maximum participation imparting knowledge of the desired course. The course had 4 semesters with a gap of 6 months.

Night Life

Gyms, Cafeterias and libraries were all present in and around the campus. I didnot opt for hostel service because I lived nearby and could easily visit and opt for the other services. The campus timings were 0930hrs till 1630hrs which helped us all to reach our respective residential areas before night fall.

Honestly college is not very good but yes average

Placement Experience:

Placements are good sometimes but not exactly sure because some batches are not placed somes are placed or somes are not then they trying to get placement for own if i talk about the percentage of placement then i would say 60% not 100%,for 3rd semester students are eligible for placement & one terms is here that is 75% attendance is mandatory for getting placement, i have visited 3-4 companies & they offer 3.7-4 lpa package,my plan after getting the degree, firstly i looking for a company around 4-5lpa package then i started to develop my self

Honest Review of BIBS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Placement Experience:

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

Only good remarks I can give for my college, but one bad thing is that it's very far away from my place as I stay in Howrah it took around 2 to 2½ hrs journey for college.

Remarks:

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

Remarks:

The good things I like is that the teachers teach through the slides prepared by himself and also told student to prepare PowerPoint presentation and deliver in the class and also give different case study to solve the problem. Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.

Reality of Jis college of engineering

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good. So for all this reason I choose this college. I wanted to go for heritage but my name didn't came in cutoff.
