Remarks

The college is very good including the academics, extracurricular activities, infrastructure, and social life. The only drawback of the college is the ROI as the fees are comparatively higher than the salary offered during placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is mostly application-based and not based on rote learning. The students are provided with a formula book during the exam so that they don't waste time in memorizing the formulas and focus on learning the concept. The test is also conducted on e-pads and not on papers to conserve trees. The teaching is application based and practical. The lectures are also recorded so that the students can access the lectures back in their hostel rooms.

Placement Experience

2.5

I don't have any idea of the placements since I am a first-year student. But I have gathered information from the seniors about the placements and they say that it's reasonable but the students have to maintain a good cgpa.

College Events

5

The two main events of MIT are tech tatva and revels. The college also has a clubs in which the students can be a part of. The students are also a part of many competitions. Many celebrities and famous people are a part of these events. The whole institution takes part in these events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The tuition fees are 3.25 lakhs. The fees remain constant for all the 4 years. The hostel fees and mess fees are about 1.25 lakhs. The hostel fees vary for different types of hostels. The total fees for 4 years of undergraduate education are about 17 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not opted for any scholarship. Since my parents are funding my education, I didn't avail any loan.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is very happening. There are a lot of clubs in which the students take part in and enhance their skills and interests. The college offers premium sports facilities for sports lovers. The gender ratio is about 60:40 which is quite good better than other colleges.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel fees is 50,000. The hostels are well maintained and there are different hostels offered to the students. The hostels are of different types such as triple sharing, double sharing, and deluxe rooms. Some hostels also have a gym and common room where there's a tv.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the college is known worldwide and are really famous. The famously known Satya Nadella was a student of this college and Rajesh Suri is also an alumnus of this institution.

Admission

The Institute conducts an entrance exam called MU OET for the students and considers admissions only through this exam and there are no management seats available in the college. The students can attempt this exam three times and the results are announced about one month after the test. The first round of counseling is offline where the students have to go to the designated venues and submit the required documents and choose the branches available on different campuses. The next rounds are online where the students can upgrade their branches and apply for admissions in the main campus. The offline round of counseling is conducted in the last week of May and the first week of June.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very experienced and professional. They provide real-life examples to relate the topic to reality. They teach very systematically. They are very helpful and always available. They don't judge and solve all the doubts. The teachers are well qualified and are very interested in their respective subjects due to which they have immense knowledge in them. They even know how to deliver the knowledge to the students.

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.

These companies make a significant number of job offers across various profiles, including software development, consulting, and research. The highest package offered varies from year to year and can range from ?10-20 lakhs per annum, depending on the company and the profile offered. The average package generally falls between ?4-8 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placements varies, but RVCE has a consistently high placement record, with a significant majority of students securing job offers during campus placements.
