Review on the National institute of Engineering Mysore North campus

Artificial intelligence might have very huge scope in the future that's the reason I opted for it. The college circullam is very supportive. Everu semester starts with induction program where students are given placement training and internships along with short courses. The students also get free coursera account and are required to do few courses every semester

The college offers a lots of internships and crash courses to help. The placement department send a lot of mails to apply for internship from many companies. Even a few clubs offer internships. Students also get internship by getting into hackathons

NIE has best placement in Mysore. The college promises placements for all if they have passed all subjects without any backlogs. Usually most of them get massed placed for 4 to 5 lakhs. The highest is around 68 lakhs. This year AIML had its first placement for 23 lakha

The first year kcet fees was around 98 thousand along with extra college tution fee of 14 thousand. Total of 1 lakh 12 thousand. The second year year fee is 1 lakh 2 thousand. I am currently I. Second year. The first fee payment had to be done in bak to kea of 98 thousand.and 14 thousand to college. in the second year 1 lakh 2 thousand fee had to be paid in college.

The college has one main fest and various other branch fest. Sports has high priority. Libraries are huge. All the events are usually organised in south campus. The north campus has a few but is mainly for classes. There are many clubs but IEEE and gdsc and onyx are the few worth joining. Attendance will be given for all events. And the events are charismatic and joyfull.

I looked for colleges around Mysore only. The national institute of engineering and SJCE are the only two good colleges in Mysore. I could not make it to SJCE, I was short by 200 ranks, I got 6082 rank in kcet . So I joined NIE

We have 2 internals and one semester exam along with two quizes for every more than single credit subject and 3 quizes only no exams and internals for every single credit subjects. We usually have two 4 credit, three 3 credit and three single credit subjects. It may vary three and four credit subjects have labs sometimes. Total of 20 credit every semester. Faculties are very friendly and cooperative

I am a day scholar so I don't know much about this. But both the campus of NIE has gyms in hostels and they are quite huge and charge only 500 monthly. The hostels in North campus are filled so mainly students get hostels in south campus and need to arrange the college bus which cost 24k for transportation to North campus. It is convenient although it sounds harsh. The south campus hostel is on the heart of the city and very well maintained.
