Course Curriculum Overview

5

the subjects are on to the point and no unnecessary things are made to be done it relates with the course you have chosen for example IT students didnt had any subjects like mechanics or workshop (as they are not revelant for them)which are to be done in first year in other colleges but electronics do have mechanics in software part teachers should more focus on making the students executing codes on IDEs rather than writing in note book and notepad it is hectic that after the whole week of work you have to study for one/two subjects test on every sat/sun and back to back tests do give some stress but we manage accordingly

Placement Experience

4

students who meet the eligibilty criteria set bby companies can participate companies visited are TCS,AWS,Capegemini, infosys etc avg package is around 4lakhs highest package 37.5lakhs have not decide yet about what ill be doing after degree

Campus Life

5

verve is annual event held in vit along with many more montly events held by student communities like hackathons wide range of books in library and have acs sports and extracuricular activities are held and students can participate in them

Admission

reason for choosing is it was the nearest amongst others was thinking for doing a btech+mba from dy patil but canceled the plan as it is far and i have to compensate with traveling time, and i am not regretting join vit yes i applied for other colleges but dindt got allotment the admission process is easy and clear college provides you all details after you get allotment through CAP by giving CET exams overall admission process was smooth and got no difficulties

Faculty

5

the ratio is apporx 1:70 all the faculties are friendly and helpful indeed and can meet them after lectures for any doubts or need any solution java faculties are indeed good and helped me in throughout my semester regarding any doubts or project submission i would say MS and SDE sir were one of the best teachers i have learnt from there are very few teachers which i dislike and one would be the chemistry faculty students dont understand the way he teaches and he is also very strict currently i am in 2nd yr and there are exams held in below pattern there are 3 theory exams in total evrymonday tests are held of one subject per week and there are two such types and the average of these two teasts counts as MSE(mid sems) and the exam held at the end of each sem is ese(end sems) Dificulty - easy to moderate but some students still find it difficult most of the students pass and the subjects are relevant to the course chosen

Night Life

5

havent experienced nightlife much in vit but ill say the events which i have attend till now were fabulous theres no gym but college do have cafetias , library and gaming zone-DEN and places where studenta can play indoor games no hostel

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
