room facilities is good, there are both single and double type of room available in college hostel. meal quality is average. in food menu chicken, egg, fiss are available. registratation process for hostel is strating with the admission of cources.

COLLEGE FACULTY IS GOOD, THEY WILLINGNESS TO HELP OUTSIDE CLASS. LOW RATIO IN FACULTY TO STUDENTS ALLOWS FOR MORE PERSOALIZED ATTENTION. THE COURSE STRUCTURE TYPICALL DESIGNED TO BE PROGRESSIVE. PARTHA SIR IS LITTLE BIT AGGRESSIVE BUT ARATI MAAM, POLYPRIYA MAAM, MAYURI MAAM, CHUMKI MAAM IS TOO GOOD, ADORABLE AND HELPFUL FOR STUDENTS.

Night Life

the nightlife of our college offers a range of activities. we hostellers usually go out and enjoy nightlife of our college with a cup of coffee . play bedminton, vollball in evening at college campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My aim in life is to be a professor and a poet and I think Literature degree is the best way for it. The aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course got to be how well the syllabus is made, allowing us to improve everyday. One can prepare for competitive exams well. The curriculum enhances our speaking abilities, grammar, our social interactions and make us better intellectually, which is again, very beneficial for the future because nowadays, the world needs personality development and this curriculum help boost that. hmm, i think, the improvements needed got to be that when assignments are turned in, they should make sure to check if it's AI written or human since some students use AI and get marks because the souce is not checked. Timing of the exams are not frequent, It gives us time to prepare. CT 1 is held 2 months after the semester starts, CT 2 is held 1 month after CT 1 and the end semester exam is held in the end.

GC, A place to embark

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since the uni. board has opted to follow the NEP 2020, the syllabus and the course patterns are very detailly picked for each semester. This education policy also has and lets students to take equal opportunities in learning a subject out of their honours paper, by letting them choose a wide range of common papers that might help in ability enhancement, skill enhancement, multidisciplinary and value added courses. This broadens a students level of expertise too. So its a great way of learning I'd say.

I applied in other colleges such as dibru college, digboi college, dibrugarh University, gauhati university etc. My 1st option was I really wanted to study in dibrugarh University but for my poor grades in my HS exam I couldn't make it . So I prefer dhsk college at spot admission and I got selected for major in chemistry which I wished to. My college admission were through samarth portal which was based on merit list of the HS exam. To get admission in dhsk college, the student must have a qualified HS marksheet with good grades. My experience was very lucky because there was only one seat available in my course.
