As my father is from electronics background so from childhood I have passion on learning and exploring electronics. So I have choosed this coarse Electronics and communication engineering. The teachers teach both on black board and digital board at the same time . They explain in detail about the concepts not only the bookish knowledge but also the real world problems and how to solve them in a innovate manner.

We have both online campus and off campus internships provided. But for those who wanted to do off campus internships and jobs they need to get permission from the placement cell first and then they can proceed. Our college offers both winter and summer internships associated with top and good companies around to the students of the college.

Placements are quite good in my college nearly 73.8% are getting placed as per last year. I wanted to get placed before completing my degree. Im really trying hard to achieve my goals before graduating. We have a good placement cell team whose are constantly helping us and they are the bridge between many companies out there and us. The highest package is 46.7LPA and 6.5 is the lowest package I guess. Big companies like Accenture, Meesho, Qualcomm and many others visit our college and give jobs and internships to students. Generally from 3-1 students are eligible for long term internships and PPO's.

As a Reservation category student (ST) per semester I'm paying 18,500 as academic fees which includes both the academic and hostel and all it will be different for those students with parents income less than 2lakhs. I paid ?18,500 which covered gymkhana, examination, registration, medical insurance, and internet charges. For my admission, I paid a one time fee of ?15,500 which included charges for admission, provisional certificate, career development fund and other items. ?11,000 was my hostel fee and ?7500 and ?15000 for the central mess fee which is separate from the academic fees as it was contract based. 8 semesters in total, my overall expenditure for tution fees, academic fees , and hostel fees will be ?2,83,000 ( ?15000 one time at the start + ?18500 x 8 + ?15000 x 8 mess fee ). My friends who are from general category need to pay the tution fees and the remaining fees which will be a total of ?8,00,000 nearly for whole 8 semesters. The fee structure will be different for different categories. And for those students from sc/st with annual income less than 2lakhs will be getting NSP scholarship.

I want to talk about the extracurricular activities and sports competitions in our college. Like our college is one of the top in every year during the Inter IIIT sports competitions held between many IIITs once a year and our college marked overall 2nd position last year. I participate in Enthuse competition which intra college sports competitions. There are many clubs like AFC club, Robotics club, science and technology, sports clubs and we have a club no but it's a family like to IIITDM students which is jagrithi. We give tutions and make children do their homework in the college. The children are from nearer backward areas of JABALPUR.

Our girls hostels are very neat and clean like we live 4 in a room, with attached bathroom inside provided a chicken to keep our snacks and food items. No cooking in hostel is allowed. 2members in the bedroom and 2in the hall. The rooms are spacious and they provide wifi for each room and we have a geyser floor wise. We pay around ?11000 per semester as hostel fee which is affordable. Our rooms are cleaned thrice a week.

Comparing to my rank and the other colleges im getting this stands out at the top in infrastructure, academics , fee structure which is affordable and my is a government recognised college so I felt it will be the best out of many.

The boys to girls ratio is 4:1 for every 4boys 1girl. The faculty to student relationship is very good I should personally say, because in my 2years of college life the faculty team helped me various ways like sending a detail handwritten notes personally prepared by them for our easy understanding. They help not only academically but also personally like they treat us like their children and try to mould as so that we can achieve good things in life. The exams are Moderate not so hard and not so easy to crack. There is no one like I wanted to mention because I really do like the way they help me .

We have many canteens, food stalls and magiee point inside the campus but unfortunately we are not able to experience the night life of college life in our college. It's not due to the rules but actually as we live near the hilly area and trees around its dangerous to roam around alone so but hanging out during the mornings and evenings is quite fun and safe.
