Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is more inclusive but not comprehensive. For a 10 marks answer the student is expected to write 2 or 3 pages while in other streams the student is expected to fill a minimum of 5 pages. For all the nature loving and concerned youth, this course is a must!

Fees and Financial Aid

17500 was the fees to be paid. Usually bsc course costs 7000 to 8000 but since our subject was Zoology + Botany so the fees made sense. No additional fees was charged whatsoever. If you belong to Muslim minority category there may be some concessions.

Campus Life

4

So a number of club activities would take place in the college. There was a specific club called the science club which took over the responsibility of conducting quizes organizating fests and other things Rizvi College library is on the best in town due to its digital access which is open to all. The library in true sense in a hub of knowledge

Admission

Firstly because it is closer to my place. Secondly the senior college has a student friendly environment and so learning is easier. I applied in a different college called Sathe and even visited the clg but the course was not available (Zoology Botany combined)

Faculty

4

So basically in BSc Zoology and Botany, a student is required to have basic knowledge about living things and their classifications. Talking about the teacher-student ratio, we had 4 teachers per subject ( 1 teacher per unit). The teachers are strict but still pretty approachable.

Night Life

2

The college does not have a night life as such. But since it's closer to Carter road which is a beautiful place to be in, there is so much to eat from and a good ambience is what everyone prefers! The college timings are from 7:30 to 4 while the library functions from 7 to 5.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first year curriculum connects SSC and HSC syllabus making easier to approach further. The course can be divided into two as aspects of application and academic first the general theory course of animals including phylum study and the another goes with lab work techniques making it suitable for higher studying in both lab and field work. The three year course must be provided with free subject choice as per the new education policy (no compulsion for physics and chemistry) Slight improvement in planning feel experience in field tours and outcomes. Do mostly well planned but sometime the exam schedule of different subject choices students in first and second year of course can make a difficult for on time study required before exam.

A few negative effects are debt, partying, sexual assault, missing family and friends, and stress. Positive effects are he/she gets a degree, makes new friends, becomes more diverse, most likely gets a good job after graduating, and helps he/she to become more independent and grow as an individual.

Being part of MIT ADT University there are some disadvantages of not being a regular student. We always need to be in our best behaviour, need to be always dressed in uniform in college function and a high penalty of suspension is followed if presented differently.
