USCT GGSIPU College Review

i liked subjects like mass transfer, heat transfer, thermodynamics that are also we can see in day to day life so i want to explore that. first year start with subjects that are same for every branch that are mostly teached to student in 12 th its upgraded version of 12 and in 2 year some core subject are coming that will make base and 3,4 we learn about that branch of engineering its use. there should be 7 or 8 semester free so that students can go for research. the semester of six months exam is happening in 2.5 months completion and one after 5 months completion.

7 semester SCG,SSP, berger Piants. higehest package is 9 Lpa by Jacobs and avarge is 4 Lpa nearly 30% of students got placed placement is not good here . i want to do a Researcher Job and looking for a research based company

There is one yearly fees structure for every course there is two branch of engineering here that is chemical engineering and biochemical engineering both have 73000/yr fees and divided in two parts 58000/yr for USCT ,GGSIPU fees and 15000/yr for GGSIPU University fees. there is no any other charges for me any year. one year fees = 58000/yr + 15000/yr = 73000/yr i.e USCT + University fees. there is no any increase in fees any year. both branch have same fees structure. if someone have ration card then they can avail 100% refund i.e 58000/yr from University. if someone have ews certificate and family income is less that 250000/yr then they also avail 100% refund. course fees increasing for every new batch coming as per decided by GGSIPU University.

Technical fest is Chemcord for Our collge and annual fest is Anogoonj celebrated for whole university. There is every cource available from completitive, computer, magazine, every book, there is e book facility also. we can collect book one time for 15 days free and after that 2 ruppes per day. and semester books available for free for 6 months. there is sports meet.

i applied for MAIT and got mechanical branch there but its far from my home so i chosses GGSIPU main campus USCT chemical engineering. no i alloted for my JEE rank. they start counselling after jee results on basis of jee. Student should have passed 12 with 55% and for btech student should have Physics, chemistry, MAths as subjects.

the faculty to student ratio is 1/8 that is okay as there were less student coming here. Professors are very helpful they support students . i like vinay shah he teaches 3 subject and i like Biswajit sarkar he is well educated chemical engineer professor with 25 years of experience here in this college our that time dean is very good and very supportive. i didn't like Dinesh kumar sir he is not taking initiative to work for students. there are two exams in one semester one is minor of 25 marks and one major of 75 marks. mostly questions are of previous year so its medium some difficult subjects are difficult to pass but mostly student get pass. the course curriculum is very focused to professional chemical engineering requirements and it is taken from IIT DELHi course curriculum.

there is Gym for only Hostel students, and there is 3 cafyerias and amul, nescafe, mother dairy there in campus. there were two hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls students can walk freely in campus till 11 for boys and till 10 for girls. the college is very well structured every place in campus is beautifully designed.
