Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is literally good and the best ever you can get for msc. Mathemaths in any college, they seriously included multiple courses for computing which is really helpful for placements and companies also like them

Internships Opportunities

5

Yes, the internship opportunities available here are really good, considering the fact that my college is just 4 hours from Mumbai, so it is easier to get internship opportunities here, also the cell working for it is good to

Placement Experience

3

The placements of my branch are decent approximately 6 lakhs 70 thousand per annum, which is really good considering my course msc. Mathematics assignment we will be going for research based companies

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester wise fees is approximately 12lakhs for my course and 20lakhs for btech. Courses For sc and at, 100% fee remission, they don't have to give any king of fee Hostel fees+mess fess(+related): approx 50k per year

Campus Life

5

Decent campus life, however with the friends and these peers it becomes really great????, you can be out all night(however withing the campus only) and meet all your friends and seniors from other hostels too

Hostel Facilities

2

The facilities provided in the room are listed as follows: Fan(coolers or ac are not allowed), 2 tables per room as there are 2 people's in one room, 2 chairs, 2 beds and 1 common almirah which is really bad

Admission

Well, as I need to apply for jee for getting into nit, I have to apply for jossa to get into this college and thus I can't actually say how many I filled for but yeah this college is really good for person like me

Faculty

5

The faculty members are really good here, considering most infact 80% of them have completed their PhDs from various iits and other top level colleges The faculty to student ratio is approximately 10 but they are easily approachable, specially the hods, they are strict, but you have any problem regarding career advice and like that, just go to them man, and you will get best advice possible My favourite faculty is Dr. Sourav gupta sir from maths department, he is really kind and best teachers and he gives us valuable life lessons time to time and his teaching techniques are also best of class, you literally just go to class and you are all set for examination, not because papers are easy but because of his teaching methods and engagement There we have to give 2 major exams and the difficult level is moderate for each subject, and In my batch there are about 2 students out of 40 to fail

Night Life

4

There are 3 gyms, 1 dedicated for 1st year boys and 1 dedicated for 1st year girls and 3rd one is common, there is no cafeteria and just a central canteen, which is decent both taste wise and financially

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for BSc BIOTECHNOLOGY because of my interest. The field of Biotechnology was blooming. Faculty are good in number. One faculty for each subject. Wide ranges of subject are included in curriculum. BSc is in three subjects - BIOTECHNOLOGY, ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE and HEALTH-HYGIENE. Teachers are generally freshers but they stay atleast for a year. Few teachers also have a doctoral degree and are expertise in their field. Timely assignments and seminars are conducted. 30% is internal marks. Semester internal as well as external exams are conducted. Exams are moderate. It covers esay to difficult questions. If well prepared, you can pass easily.
