Likes

College atmosphere is good and cleanliness maintained well
Ground is good and for cricket we have nets to play season ball
Canteen food and library is also very good

Dislikes

Not much importance given for sports to go of campus

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching will go according to the time table The preparation will be good For every one month they will conduct exams and after completion they will give average to the students and add them to finals But as the new system came students are getting 50 marks for internal from now

Class Size: 13Course Fees: INR 126000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th sem students are eligible for campus placements Cognizant and few companies I think the highest package was 4.8 LPA and least was 3LPA Not much people got placed and i think most of them didn't get joining letters

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee we can pay like semister wise or else we can pay full also they won't give for more than 1 exam if you haven't pay fees Registration fees 5000 and other fees all included in the college fees Local people who write KCET will have fees like 30000 per year Local people gets scholarships

Campus Life

Campus life is very good we have all the enjoyment required there Every year concerts will be there Various celebrations will be taken place in the campus No one will run any social groups or clubs or student portals

Hostel Facilities

I prefer PG or private hostel but if you have friends so it bettet to take a rented room and cook your self and stay with friends Menu will be different as I don't visited recently Same college sorroundings only i stayed

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

I saw the college for the first time and i liked the agent also motivated me to join this college Because i went from telangana to karnataka as i dont know how it works there My overall college experience was good

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is like max in a class there are 60 students I cant name them but some of them are very good and have knowledge about the subject Few faculty just prepare and come to teach Not able to solve doubts Exams are internals they will conduct 3 times in a semister

Night Life

As it is a crowded area we have all the aspects needed for the students like gym restaurants cafeterias Closing time is around 10 pm Hostel timings 8pm Campus timing 8-5 It is safe to roam outside at night

The Reality of Studying Here

Placement Experience:

from 6th Sem u are eligible to sit for the placement. A lot of companies come to the college i don't focus on company name my focus will be on the CTC and average is 4-5LPA and the highest package was 20LPA. but very less student get placed because they don't have proper technical skill and the one who have skills they are placed in our college. before getting a Degree i need a job from Campus Placement this is my plan after getting Degree let's see I haven't made any plans right now.

Best Kept Secret

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for this year is the updated one. Its 2025 Scheme for the students. The curriculum is well designed according to the needs of CSE students for real life coding. The curriculum contains all required and updated topics which students from CSE background require to develop excellent skills for jobs and startups. There should be only one internal exam instead of two. Because, two internal exams tend to keep them involved more into college exams leaving very less time to build their extra skills. Thus there should be only one internal exam so that students can build their extra skills.

MIT Manipal's Student Plaza is amazing!

Placement Experience:

MIT Manipal Placements starts at around 6th semester as atleast the training and all starts. So final interviews and all starts for us in the 7th semester and before entering 8th or the final semester most of the placements are already done. I still wants to pursue masters as our university has tie-ups with American universities and our course skills can be bettered with masters is what I feel.

MIT Manipal boast a night life worth spending!

Placement Experience:

Around 47 students in our course and in 2025 36 of them were placed and rest I don't think even applied as jobs were definitely available. Infosys, Polaris and others who are now world famous for building cyber security systems were at MIT Manipal to hire students.

BMS College of Engineering truth

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placement from 7th sem. A lot of companies visit the campus,around 300 companies visit and around 1200 offers are made. The big ones are oracle, natwest, ring central,visa. The highest package is around 35 lpa, the average is around 10 lpa. Around 65% students do get placed. My plans are to get a good job after this degree.
