Likes

Good faculty professors are good and helping
College is build at a good place with road and forest area
College has full internet coverage, that helps a lot

Dislikes

Small campus, there is only one building that creates a situation of mob sometimes
College is far from main town so some items are no available here so we have to go far to get it
There are no hostels available that is a problem for lot of students in need

Course Curriculum Overview

The 1st year cource curiculum is not quite relatable , but rest other is quite helpful, also other then tech we are taught various real world subjects such as disaster management and english sleaking. I think they should switch 1st year subjects with something better.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The anual fees ia around 1 lakh. Odd semester fees is 60000 and even semester fees is 40000 . With 1st semester exception fees as 73000 . There are fee waviers to single girl childs, handicap children, SC/ST candidates.

Campus Life

A anual cultural fest utkarsh and a anual trchnalogical fest Atlantis are oraganised every november and in even semester a anual sports meet are organised . There are many student run groups such as acting, drama, music clubs stc

Admission

I basically applied to this college because this one is close to my home, and it was a govt college that makes it even more desired by me, admission process is easy a entrance exam HPUCET is conducted and seats for various branches are filled through analysing prefered branch and rank in exam

Faculty

The faculty to student ration is around 1:50 . The teachers are good though, very helpful and can be approached anytime. They have their PHD, s from various prestigious institutes, and have lot of experience in research feild.

Night Life

Night life is good. Although college is open only till 8pm but the shimla as in town, remains open and lit, and we enjoy going to mall road , jakhu temple, and graveyard at sanjauli. Overall i highly prefer this college if you want night life.

CHOOSE WISELY

Placement Experience:

After fifth semester you are eligible for campus placements. IBM, Cognizant, Algo8, Polaris and CITRIX and over 5000 offers are made. Highest package 42 lpa in CSE program by Algo8 and average package of CSE program is 5 lpa and for MBA is 7.5 lpa. percentage of students getting placements is 45%. My plan after getting degree is make your skill more better and good for my dream companies like google, amazon and microsoft and crack their interviews.

Why to get IIIT UNA in 2025

Placement Experience:

the placemts of my college is just average about 12 lakhs average package and 30 lakhs max this year but max is 60 lakhs p.a. from 7th sem students starts to get placements and got eligible the companies visited are amazon,flipkart , enfosys and many more'' the percentage of the students getting placed is about 80% till now my plans are to get on acmpus placement the best i can get

Great Learning, Friendly Campus, and Bright Future

Placement Experience:

Students can sit for job drives from the 7th term. In our college, firms like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra visit. Most jobs are in coding, support, or test fields. The top pay was around ?10 LPA for a dev job. The usual pay is 3–4 LPA for most jobs. Nearly 60–70% of CS/IT students get jobs. Core jobs are less for other fields. My goal is to work for 1–2 years in tech and then go for higher study or skill-based role in top firm or startup.
