Course Curriculum Overview

3

I would rate the curriculum of manufacturing branch 6/10 as it involves many courses which are very traditional and not modern. Yet we get a lot of option as open electives and desciplinary electives in which we can pursue the coarses as we like ex. If one wants to get into supply chain there are 15 coarses as electives 3hrs are given for compre examinations and 1.5 hrs for midsems other that that regular tests are of 50mins duration

Internships Opportunities

5

BITS pilani offers two internships as a part of the curriculum ie. PS 1 AND PS 2 From Unicorns to small companies participate in this and you get a great industry exposure during the internships PS 1 is without stipend but PS 2 can claim you a stipend of 1.5 Lakhs per month if you have a good CGPA Mainly PS students get the internship in cities like Banglore, Gurgoan, Mumbai etc

Placement Experience

5

College Placements are above avg in comparison with other pvt colleges in india From the 6th semester students are eligible for the placements. Many companis like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, ABG, JpMorgan, Goldmann Sachs etc come to give placements Highest package for 23 was 68 LPA and avg was 18 LPA More than 90% students gets placed in the campus If a students doesnt gets placed then they can apply for furthur studies or do off campus placements as there is a huge BUTS Alumni Community in every industry at this moment to grant you a good placement

Campus Life

5

One of the best campus life in colleges of india BITS conducts Indias 2nd largest student run fest OASIS and a TechFest Apogee. Other than that there are many clubs and departments for various fields ex. Tech clubs, consulting clubs, coding club, film making club, dance club, music club etc There are majorly every sports facilty present in the campus There are also entreprenureship cells working to boost startup culture

Hostel Facilities

3

For first and second years, BITS provides double sharing rooms with a bed, study table, chair, wardrobe and book shelf. To biy other items for the room for decoration, coolers and heaters, there is a supermarket called Akshay in the campus from where you can buy matress and all other esentials Wifi facilities are available but speed may vary during day and night. Mess is well maintained, hygienic, and food quality is also good. The mess keeps changing its menu every week so you wont get bored of eating the same thing From 3rd year onwards you get a single room

Admission

I applied for VIT vellore, MIT Manipal and BITS Pilani. I chose BITS Pilani as it is a tier one college and is better in the following ways 1. Placements 2. College Life 3. Education 4. Tag 5. Startup Culture 6. Sports Facilities 7. Good Professors To get into BITS Pilani you need to give BITSAT exam conducted 2 times a year one in may and other in june

Faculty

5

Faculty at BITS Pilani is highly educated and professional. They are always approachable even at odd timing as they provide their phone numbers to the students in case of doubt solving and they also provide their chamber consulting hours to discuss anything. Mechabical Dept. and Biology Dept. professors and very much active and involved in research and projects. There are two major exams ie. Midsems and Compre and routine tests are held weekly to check the understanding of concepts Students dont usually fail in the exams but getting a good grade needs a lot of efforts

Night Life

5

There are many food outlets in campus like Looters, Tott, DCC, Food Ministry, Baskin Robins etc which are open till 2 AM. If you like to have a proper meal with dhaba taste then you can go to Cnot Place having around 10 Restaurants and cafes with very delicious food options Other than there is a well equipped gym with different sections like weight lifting, cardio, calesthenics, aerobics etc Rotunda being the main attraction of campus is open throughtout the night where you majorly have senior junior interactions The campus in timings are 9 pm but there is no hostel in time (even for girls) The campus is itself very safe as night duty gaurds are present everywhere and you can roam around anywhere in campus

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average but improving. Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. A few companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture (off-campus support), Capgemini, and some local Jaipur-based IT firms visit the campus. Most offers are for software trainee, support, testing, or analyst roles. The average package is around 3–4 LPA, while the highest package goes up to 8–10 LPA (mostly off-campus or through exceptional performance). Around 60–70% students get placed through campus or combined on/off-campus efforts.

In my college there are very good placement chances if you score good marks and be a good student there and we can get an average package of 4 to 5 lakhs per annum and if we are better than if you are very good student we can also get more than 10 lakhs per annum it all depends on us because we have to study and we have to take out chances but if I don't get any employment from there I will start doing it off campus and will do my own business or something like that but I will definitely try hard to get a placement from this college because it is very good and I want to get I am job from this college to start my life of making money

Overall the curriculum is rated high on the comprehensiveness but moderated to high i relevance. the program's focus on renewable energy Integration and the availability of high end labs influenced me to choose this course and the curriculum provided real world foundation for public sector roles and higher studies. Exams follow the rtu cycle and the difficulty is generally high from the other branches and they are following old pattern and syllabus it should be updated

So the curriculum is good but if I talk about the latest then it's not up to that level like nothing is up to that level you cannot learn new things you have to still stick around to old thanks and real world applications there is nothing you have to separate your mind in two ways the one is for your semester exams and another is for your real world challenges
