Likes
- Such a small crowd and therefore students here mingle well and support each other.
- College hosts all three fests be it sports fest, cultural fest or tech fest.
- Lastly our institute is of much importance because most students from here work for PSU companies.
Dislikes
- The campus is such a big but only 1/3rd of it is utilised as of now.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college means only top quality students qualify and therefore I chose this college and course. Electronics here is treated as a core branch and therefore we have labs which are accessible to us. Classes are also not so lengthy as we are given time for self studies and self experimentation.
Placement Experience
ONGC, Coal India, BEL, and other government companies that deals in electronics are here at our campus. Defense which is the biggest priority of our nation currently all the companies that built defense electronics are at our campus and not just offers the best job but also best roles too.
Fees and Financial Aid
A government college but still the fees is high and it's purely because it doesn't look like a government college. Lovely infrastructure and beautiful studies and for that we have to pay 290000 yearly.
Campus Life
Our technical fest can give IITs a run for their money as Urjotsav as is like top tech fests of India. For cultural fest Kaltarang same can't be said as we don't have celebrities coming to our campus. However politicians do and recently our state hone minister came to the campus and inaugrated new sports facilities that had a snooker table too.
Hostel Facilities
There is one girls and two boys hostel at the campus and fees is just 14000 a year. There are 2 mess and one night canteen too. Students can get almost every food items as students are here from almost every corner of the country.
Admission
Admission only through JEE Maine as this is a central University and centralised admissions are done. After JEE results one has to apply online and our scores and all are evaluated by them. If only one stands eligible, he/she will be invited for admission to the campus.
Faculty
Someone has rightly said that faculties are God like creatures and I don't know about the rest but our college faculties for sure all. Not just studies but they also make us understand the importance of being a kind soul. They themselves are the most noble soul and that is why they preach us this.
Night Life
Two of Hindus top places like Gandamaphi Dham and Nandmahar Dham are in next village which are about 10kms from the college. Not many cafes as our college is in a village and one can expect a good village life beauty but not a night life like metro cities. Hostels are therefore having an in time of 8pm as by then everything in the campus is closed.
