I like the cleanliness of the campus and the measures taken to ensure it.
The visits to certain areas outside the college really educate us.
The lab facilities and also others are also one of the colleges good trait.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course that I have chosen gives a good scope in the real world and really prepares us well with the lab practicals. Honestly the course teaching could be improved with changing the black board to a interactive learning panel. Exams usually only come twice in a semester and the difficulty depends on how much you understand in the class, an average student can easily pass the exams without studying.

Class Size: 10Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In KJC I pay a sum of approximately 2,40,000 ruppees which is approximately 85,000 ruppees per year including my exam fees that is of 2,800 ruppees per semester. There are a variety of scholarships available for certain underprivileged or people that can't afford much.

Campus Life

We have a lot of events and fests that are fun and some are mostly only festivals. The library contains a lot of books and journals that are required for a student to learn. There are a lot of clubs to participate in and there might be a few students run clubs.

Admission

I had applied to Christ University and Joseph's University for my undergraduate course and had settled with this college because of the reduced fees and the distance for me to cover. I didn't get reversed by other colleges but choose to decline the admission. I'm order to be eligible one would need a percentage of 60 per cent passing marks and there is no need for competitive exams for my course.

Faculty

The faculty members are really good and there are only a few that are not likeable but which college has all good teachers there are 4 exams per year and two in one semester that are the mid semester exam and the end semester exam.

Night Life

There are a few cafes and restaurants nearby and on the main road and hostels close the gates at 10 30 maximum. In college the famous places to hang out are the cafeterias and it is safe to roam outside the college in the night

Placement Experience:

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. My honest review: College life, curriculum and career preparation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Guilt with gratitude

Placement Experience:

Students in their fifth and sixth semesters are eligible for the campus placement cell. Only 50 -60% of students get campus placement offers. I would get into post-grad courses like an MSc in physics.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the 5th semester. Many companies like ICICI bank ,Wipro, and many other MNC's do come for placements. There are 23 students taken by ICICI bank . The average package is about 4-5L per annum.

We will be ready for placements from the 5th semester as we will be given training on interview skills in the 5th semester. There are many companies that visit colleges like PN Rao, Reliance, Tailorman, etc. There are good different profiles offered like merchandising, designing, retail with different packages offered from different companies. There is 100% placements assured from college also we get more options for interviews and companies. I got placed from college in Tommy Hilfiger after my degree.

Remarks:

I didn't actually choose this college. My plan was to go to a government college. But I just applied here and wished to get selected and I did. The admission process is fully online, from interview to paying fees. The eligibility is getting a percentage above 60 and no exams are required. You just need to attend the interview on the date asked by the college and they will ask you few questions, and after few days you will get selected based on the interview.
