Entrance Preview

I had written a diploma CET exam which is common in Karnataka for getting admission in a engineering college my rank was some 3K out of 25K..even though 3K is not enough to get seat here but it was my luck that got me here..This is one of the best colleges that you ll find in bangalore.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course structure is quiet good actually but make sure which field (eg Electronics or IT or Civil) you want to enter before you choose your Branch. Dont feel that by taking EC first later you can jump to CS or IT or any other field. First get it fixed what you want to do only then decide the branch.

Internships Opportunities

Yea it does, every year some 50-60 odd companies visit campus but they mostly come for full time jobs not in specific Internship. But your allowed to get internship and you will be provided things that you need generally Bachelor Degree students dont go for intership but Internship is a must for Maters.

Placement Experience

4

thje Placements here are really good..Have 60% through out and you have 75% chance of getting placed if you have good communication skillscompanies like Mercedes, Amazon. Infosys, Accenture,Igate,Tech Mahindra, wipro,Unisys, IBM visit every year and thier average package is about 3lakh per annum.

College Events

4.5

So many events take place in the college that some times you wont even know that a particular that is running..The cultural fest is THE FEST in bangalore and the fashion show that takes place during fest is famous in bangalore and you know what BOLLYWOOD stars come promote films in this college. HRITHIK SONAM,ALIA,VARUN n a few more have been here

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is like just like any other college has but since its a posh college people assume fee to be really expensive but it isnt..if your a non karnataka student they its approx 3-4 lakh n thats like average in bangalore and for karnataka student that come to CET its like 38K+25K=approx 65K (CET fee +College Fee). Next year the fee would be around 45K and thats it this may be for rest of your engg

Fees and Financial Aid

College doesnt provide you loan or scholarship..Its you who should apply for loans or scholarships from banks and governments n mostly your application will be accepted college may take time to give out the money to you but eventually it will.

Campus Life

4

This college is for fun loving and for people full of life you mostly find 50% peoplke from north of india and 50% from south of india. There is absoulte no ragging at all..and economic status of students here is upper middleclass. Some or the other workshop is organised in campus where everyone is allowed to attend

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel and the mess is too cool there are 2 hostels one is Indian and other is NRI Indian hostel provides indian food and things are good there but not posh fee is around 1 lakh per year for Indian hostel but NRI hostel is expensive. Everything there is p

Alumni/Alumna

I never felt like they were seniors to me they were just friends they always used to warn me about the next threatening subject thats going to come up next sem or next year

Exam Structure

Labs are really good with good support stuff to help you out. Exam are once in 6 months..you attend 3 months of college and then you will have a month of holiday for so callled study holiday and then exams will take a month to go ie you will have atleast

Faculty

3.5

The stuff is Average like any other College in India. Mostly you will find faculty with more the 3 years of experience but Look this is a Degree college and i dont think any college will spoon feed you.you put in effort and the faculty is good enough to p

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
