Course Curriculum Overview
Mathematics and computing branch is new and important in today's generation.Faculty are very well Qualified from various IITs. there are both old and young profs and have great amount of teaching experience. Thus I don't see anything to be changed but some break of provides between exams and classes it will benefit us a little bit more.
Internships Opportunities
Ongc is regular for internships as they are into drilling and we are sent to their Ankleshwar unit for internships. We are provided a comfortable stay at their Ongc Colony. Coal India is another company that provides internships with a stipend of 12-15k a month.
Placement Experience
Reliance Industries, Ongc, Aban Offshore, Vedanta and other who are metals and mining are the ones that com her for placements. I am in love with the placements as almost 80 or more students out of 100 are placed every year and with a starting salary of no less than 70-75k a month.
Fees and Financial Aid
It's not that expensive in my opinion as 246k is reasonable and the college is governed by central government. So the placements and all are too taken care of by them. I would rather consider myself lucky that I got admissions here as this is one of its kind in terms of colleges.
Campus Life
Urjotsav- tech fest is done in the college and Kaltarang(anual fest)is held in April. Availability of books is excellent in library. In sports, badminton, volleyball, basketball, football and all types indoor games are available. Snooker tables have been brought in and we also have an annual sports event called Energia.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are well maintained and there is reading table and a bed in the room. Meal quality is good in mess and the menu is good and different dishes are available. The registration process can be done in online mode and it's easy to apply for hostels here. In short, it is worth the money.
Admission
You can find the application or any form on online website of RGIPT. Application will be taken both physically as well as online on rgipt portal For admission you must qualify JEE advanced and mains both with good percentile and rank . Reservation is upto 25% off for sc category and 75% is through pure merit.
Faculty
Anand R sir is everyone's favourite as he has been into teaching for straight 33rd year now. Mathematics and Compounding needs a different kind of mindset and he certainly has that. Our course make us mindstruck at times but our faculties knows exactly how to take us out of those situations.
Night Life
Well, Amethi is just a town and not many places in the city but city's best resort Naina Resort is at a walkable distance from our campus. Our Sundays mostly are spent there. There are 3 hostels in all at the campus out of which 2 are boys and one is girls hostel. The in time is same as all the students have to be back at the campus by 7pm.
