Likes

Faculty members are very supportive and help out beyond the classrooms also.
Basic facilities for students are very good.

Dislikes

Lack of infrastructure sometimes bother us.
Not proper facilities in college library.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure of Economics hons at our college is very good like literally we got to know about daily economics case study in our classrooms related to real life scenarios and get a better understanding of the academic concept.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements at our campus aare pretty average but yes we get companies from diverse backgrounds like finace , consulting but the selection rate is very low as compared to other tier one colleges ,number of students who got good placements are very very low.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fees is 12975 rupees in our college. There is no specific division of fees in different categories like tuition fees and other. Fees for Schedule tribe and schedule caste is around 12790 rupees and for PwD candidate it is around 120 rupees annually and there is not any scholarship in our college for any students.

Campus Life

There are various clubs in our college and i am part of three right now and each of them teaches you different thing to learn and grow and there is very familiar crowd in clubs of college seniors are very helpful.

Admission

I got selected in Amity University and and BHU for the economic hons nad bcom respectively but i didn't joined BHU as its really far away from my residence and Amity has very high fees for the same course which KMC offers so i choose KMC over other colleges.

Faculty

Faculty members are way too supportive. Personally i like Saumyajit Bhattacharyya sir he is very chill human being. There are around 7 papers in one semester and out of these 4 are core papers which are slightly difficult as course curriculum of economics hons is mathematics oriented and rest 3 papers are skill enhancement, value addition, ability inhancement so they are comparatively easy.

Night Life

Night life in campus is very good we say ki KMC looks far better at night then day we spent around 2 3 days at night in our campus and it was very memorable experience for us and like we enjoyed it alot.

Worst decision ever

Placement Experience:

Personally, i have good amount of experience in the industry so i might just not need vollege placements. But fir the senior batch i think only a fee got placed but rest of the students are doing things personally.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The ba programe here is little different from other colleges accross the country. The curriculum is quite diversified. If you are intrested in arts , there is lot to learn. If one want to become writter or any thing related to literature , or want to become historian , geo-politics expert,etc. The course is quite good. The exams held every four and a half or five months and the difficulty level is moderate.

Like this course is about rights and authorities which is very important for everyone nowadays and specially when you are a girl so that nobody couldn't dominate you. We read about what were the past sceniors towards the lower castes or women which is also happens in most of the states and cities but this curriculum taught us whats the reality of the world and how to be independent and how to protest for our rights . Even we can more learn about this if the faculity organises those things via presentation or streamings with some videos so it will be more helpful in our exams too!!

Maitreyi College is Underrated, A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Coming to english hons I had a little different expectations and this turned out to be a little different, This course is too much till where I have studied is inclined towards literature which sometimes students do not like. There are many subjects inside the core, but subjects like literary studies caught lot of attention due to it's attractiveness and different perspectives. Sometimes things go a lot off syllabus which disrupts mindful learning but thankgod it's just 30-40% of it.

Good and bad's of my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is basically design to study economics in a depth so that the understanding of student related to world economic, how economics work , how it affect an individual etc increase and he can work more efficiently to give theories and work in the companies related to economics. The curriculum includes value added course and skill enhanced courses that help us to learn different types of skills that are required in the real world applications. Improvement in these can be done by asking the student to apply all these into real life and connect students with the real life approaches related to the course. For core subjects the timing of paper is 3 hours and for sec and vac courses the timing of paper is 1 hour.

Rajdhani College Overview

I also Applied in GGSIPU for BCA Course it was charging very high fees it was around 150000 yearly, After getting addmission in DU I got Enrolled in Bsc(cs) in Rajdhani college. I also applied in IIT JEE EXAM is wasn't successful to make it as it is soo tough I wanted DTU or NSUT but didn't got that much score to get a seat In my College and course the Eligibility is Like You should be 12th pass in PCM(physics, chemistry,maths) and have to get a score of (300-500).
