Course Curriculum Overview

3

I want to pursue business on my future that' why I opted for this course. The prepration was not so well but ya it was average. The time they give for paper is very shortly they just give one and half hour for 30 marks paper. The teacher should make the course interesting rather than making it tough and boring. The paper is not so difficulty but it's lengthy so time shortage takes place at that point of time

Campus Life

3

Our college celebrate all the festival of for exam janmashtami, Ganesh chaturthi,Diwali, Navratri etc. In library you will find all kinds of books available the library is very beautiful and spacious. The college provide basketball volleyball kabaddi badminton all kinds of sports facilities are there. There are different kinda of club base on different types of school in the college the soc or school of commerce provides various club for example different club for HR different for finance etc

Admission

I opt for this college because it's one of the top five best college in east india it's reputed government registrar and trust worthy. the placement and infrastructure is also very good. I didn't apply for many colleges I just applied for St Xavier's College Ranchi I gave the written and interview and was cleared in both the exams but because of its infrastructure and no placement I didn't went there. For ximb we just need to give a interview on that basis students are being selected here

Faculty

3

The faculty are good they maintain a good relation with their students they slove the doubts and helps them in every field. I like Aparna Venupali ma'am I love the way she teaches just excellent.i don't like Dinesh sarangi he is very arrogant teacher he doesn't know how to teach his way of teaching is very bad just can't understand a single word he teaches.Basically there are 2 exams in one semester that is mid term which is of 30 marks and end term which is of 40 marks rest 30 marks are based on your internal for example your assignment presentation project etc. The paper are not so tough if u study well children who are fail are not more 20% students get fails.

Night Life

4

The nightlife is good the library closes at 9:30pm and yes they provide cafeteias but the food of cafe are not very good plus the gym they provide is not very renuwated and have ver few equpments. The hostel and campus in timing is 9:30 sharp . There is a garden area back of the auditorium there you can hangout wuth yours friends and can spend your happy hours.

Other Applied Colleges

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.
