Course Curriculum Overview

The aspect of the curriculum: Practical application in agriculture, specialisation in organic farming, Industry relevant internship and partnerships. The curriculum prepares: Hands on experience, Industry linked projects, Research opportunities

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees i paid : 1.2L Tuition fees,lab fees,admission fees,registration fees: 60,000 Transportation: 18,000 My batchmates also pays the same. I've no idea about the scholarships or financial aid that are available for students

Campus Life

Orion fest is our annual fest. MUN is also held in our college. Extensive collection of books are present in our library. Annual sports such as Athleta , Coolymics are held during end of the year which are so exciting

Admission

I also applied to Sikha O Anusandhan and i got a confirmation for admission. But I choose Sri Sri University because of Sri Ravishankar Gurudev. No. I never get any rejection from other colleges Eligibility: 60% in 12th and having rank on entrance exam

Faculty

We've 145 faculty for 160 students of each batch. They are super talented,comfortable and fun loving in nature. My favourite faculty is Dr Subhrajyoti Panda. He is such a angel guide to me. There are 2 exams held in each semester. 4/5 student got backlogged. The course curriculum is fantastic

Night Life

There is a gym in our hostel area. 2 cafeteria named Viswa and Cinnamon present in the campus. Hangout places such as Naraj, helipad area, sunset point, CDA cafeteria, Banki charchika temple, and more

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture is one of the important and relevant subjects out of all. If we say about Indian context then most of the people are dependent on agriculture. So in India it's relevance is very high. This curriculum consists all type of subjects like agronomy, soil science, economics, marketing, pathology,genetics and breeding, horticulture etc. this course is more based on practical than the theory. In our curriculum the mid sem occurs in the middle of the semester which is approx march in winter semester and in September- october in monsoon semester and the end semester exam held in end of the semester which is in December in monsoon semester and may in winter semester.

Everything happens for a reason

Course Curriculum Overview:

As India is a agricultural country most people depends on agriculture so I choose this course that I think it might have more scope. Through this course, we covered both theory and practice; we planted crops, prepared the field, applied manure to the soil, and irrigated the field. The difficulty is not too hard, and there are about 4 exams in a year, which is very good. In this course we must visit the village and interact with village people know their problems and try to find solutions. In our college we are less interactive with village farmers.

Agriculture: Survival kit

Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture course is highly vast and informative. This course actually provides economic knowledge about the food we consume in our daily life and also provides the information about how they are grown and taken care of by our hardworking farmers. And talking about the difficulty level it's actually easy and we just have to get involved in this course as much as we can. Improvement this course requires is to give proper guidance to our farmers and also to provide them with proper wages they deserve.

Overall the college and the campus is very good but the exam pattern is worse so it should be improved

Sri Sri University is Special!!

I applied at many colleges as NEET i gave so that I could get admission in AIIMS. However, I couldn't and therefore I chose one of the best private colleges in my state and Sri Sri University is that for sure. NEET score is accepted here and cut-offs are generally high but for BAMS, it isn't that high. There are in all 100 seats for BAMS and around 50k students compete for that....Read More
