Likes

Faculty was very very helpful and supportive.
The discipline the college used to follow was a great thing.
The college campus was very cool and big.

Dislikes

The HOD of my faculty was very rude and strict.
The canteen was good but the food was not that nice.
Very bad about donations was very greedy for that.

Course Curriculum Overview

The frequency and timings of exams are perfectly alright but the college timings were very vast because after attending 8hours of college the students used to get very exhausted at the end of the day and it may affect at the time of exams.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 95000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees per year are 95000rs and I am in SY right now so I have paid 1,54,000 till date. But the college is very well known and faculty is also very co-operative and it is considered as one of the best colleges in Mumbai.

Campus Life

All the extra curricular activities very good. This college is very nice regarding to support sports and the technology was used to teach us was also of great quality and latest techs. The classrooms was also well organised

Admission

I chose this college because it is one of the best colleges in Mumbai and as I am a middle class student the course fees was very less as compared to other colleges that was the main thing I liked the most.

Faculty

All the faculty staff was very very good. Especially I liked Elenka Ma'am she is our English lecturer and I like her way of teaching the students and clearing their doubts and also creating a friendly connection with the students as well.

Night Life

The nightlife of my college I experienced it a couple of times during the events which used to be held in college and the total experience was very good chilling with college friends at nighttime during events.

Sem 6 is considered preferable for the college placement many students starts getting placed from that, many companies like wipro, mahindra & mahindra, tcs, capgemini, etc. visits each year to the college each and every students gets atleast a offer to them few also gets more than one like 2 to utmost 3 also,750+ students got offered at the final year of 2023 if we include internship offer than it goes more than 1200, in campus highest package was 12lacs off campus was 62lacs, (85%)+ of the students gets placed each year in the college. After i get degree i would try for college placements and would also focus parallely for the off campus placements too, and ofc wherever i will get the highest placement i would go for it.

This college has a very big Alumni network. Because this college is started in 1982. And its highest package is 300000 and its average package is 4.5 lakh. And the graph of placement increases year by year.

MH-Cet percentile of 97 is required as even though it was lockdown when i took admission the cut-off was still that. DBIT MUMBAI : where learning meets vibrant campus life .

i didnt applied to other colleges because my sister used to study in DBIT so i was sure the college will be good . while i also thought i was elegible for the college so i preferred DBIT for its approachable faculty and industry connections. the adimission process at DBIT involves eligibility based on 12th- grade marks and MHT-CET schores with atypical cutoff arounf 85-90 percentile for IT. the process is smooth, with a centralized counseling ensuring transpency. rejections elsewhere were due to higher cutoffs but DBIT has proven to be a great choice overall....Read More
