Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum basically is same for all the computer science students and it only varies when it comes to core subjects. They're all very important for the placements. Each subjects is new and can be correlated too

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 192000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

I'll have to pay 1,92,000 per year for the tuition fees and the hostel fees varies for each room varying from 1 lakh to 2 lakh 35 thousand. If you are a star student you can actually don't have to pay your tuition fees

Campus Life

So many clubs are there in this college, so many techical , so many art clubs , so many commercial clubs . Events in our college will occur in a daily basis . Something will be happening everyday in our college

Admission

I got this college in a short span of time which was weird, comparing to other colleges in my hometown this is far better, new experience and new culture , new people . I didn't get rejected anywhere Joining this college was a bit late for me though

Faculty

Faculty members are all so fine and well prepared for every classes They're are so super strict (some are) We've something called cat 1 and cat 2 for our internal exams and the final one is FAT. And as every colleges we've our internals too

Night Life

Nightlife is a bit stirct in here . You can enjoy it only when you get a night pass from the bostel office . It'll basically be like a shutdown of the college during night time. Very peaceful and the crowd vanishes. The passes you'll get only with the clubs you are a part of

Review of placement

Placement Experience:

From 5th senester students are eleigible for the placements. So your 5th semester cgpa is very important. This college provide placements from companies like zoho, accenture, tcs , hexaware, mitsogo and more. The highest package is 12Lakhs and lowest package us 3lakhs.60 percentage of students are getting placed each year. Its fully depend on your skills. My plan is to place in campus placements for a web developer role.

The placements are good but the college will not give guarantee that there is 100% placements if there is 100 % placements it might be good because getting good placements in lot of people is hard in other colleges the strength is less and getting chance is more

Panimalar : A paradise For The Learners

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible fro the placements and attends interviews from the sixth semester. And the college starts to provide special placeement training from the end of the sixth semester. Even I'm still not eligible to attend the college placements, I hear a lot from my seniors about the placements. From those informations, some of the major and high paying companies like Accenture, Infosys, Sutherland often approach college for the placement. I have no knowledge about the highest package but average package could be ranging from 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 LPA. The highest number of students that are getting placed are from Dept. of AI&DS. With overall count of students attending more than 50% students passes the aptitude and reasoning test round, 15% of students passes the Group Discussion round, and only 5-6% students passes the HR round and getting placed. I personally started to hate these 9-5 jobs after hearing from the seniors who got placed in so called "best IT companies". So, my short term plan is to get placed in a high paying IT company and work till i get fired by any means. My major and long term plan is to start a business with all the savings that I've saved from my job.

The reason i choosed this college over the other college is because that VIT Vellore is the top college than others and the placements are soo good. And is known for placements. I could not make it to IIT as per my percentile. It was easy to apply for VIT Vellore. I went to vit.ac.in then all the instructions with procedures were dispalyed. I had got to apply for PES Banglore, And was confirmed in JSS. But i didn't take admission there as VIT provides the best admission than other colleges. The eligibility is to be 12th pass with more than 75% in P,C,M and CS. Then the cutoff will be released. Students will get rank based on their board percentage....Read More

Everything you need to know about VIT

I didn't applied for TNEA counselling. I wrote many exams like VITEEE, JEE mains,Manipal entrance exam. And I got a chance to grab a seat in Manipal institute of technology. But the fees is too expensive for B.Tech chemical engineering (?3 lakh+). So I dropped it. I didn't make a good rank in VITEEE. And also I barely passed in JEE mains. I applied online in the portal of msc integrated admission where I applied by filling all the necessary requirements and finally by paying ?600. No entrance exam to join in this department, purely based on 12th marks and the student has to secure above 60% in 12th board overall....Read More
