The curriculum is as per the Anna University syllabus and subjects are well reached by the skilled professors and labs are well equipped with modern equipments and well skilled labs assistants with good infrastructure.

There is more than 10 companies which offers placements for the students and the popular companies are zogo, l and t,Saint gobin.you canexpress your ideas and projects through thiran projects which are conducted every year

You are eligible for placements from final year as per your studies and skills developed.This college also gives some coachings for gate aspirants who are preparing for gate exam.About 70% of the students got placed every year.

The total fees including exam fees,college fees and mess fees is around 55000 per year.College fees is around Rs.8000/yr,hostel fees is around Rs.5000/yr and you have to pay a monthly mess fees of around Rs.2000 .The scholarship for sc and st students are around Rs.30000 per year which includes postmatric and hostel scholarship.The average annual package of college is around Rs.200000.The exam fees for every semester is around Rs.175 per subject.BC and MBC will get a scholarship of Rs.11000 per year.students who studied in government school can avail the courses with 20% of the total fees.Girls students can also apply for pragathi scholarship.Placemnt training will be given for every students from the first year.Every department will get the internship at the end of 6th semester for 1 month.zogo and L&T are one of the top companies which came for placement.saint gobin conduct internship for eligible students for 1 month at the 5th semester by conducting different levels of aptitude test.Environment of the college is quite good and peaceful.The college is surrounded by greeny environment.tThis college have big playground and offers maximum of the sports practiced in India.This is one of the top government engineering colleges in Tamil adu.College is located at the outer of Karaikudi near kottaiyur in Alagappa college road.

The technical festival happens every year is thiran festival by which students can express their talents through their innovative ideas and they should present a ppt about their innovation infront of the technical staffs and principal.

Each hostel room have individual cart and slabs and they have two fans for each room.There is no power cut in the hostel especially during night time.The meal offered by the mess are idly and pongal for morning sambar for lunch and chappathi for supper.

I have applied for many top government colleges but I got civil engineering in this college.so I choosed this college which felt better for me as compared to other colleges that I have applied for admission.

This a autonomous college and valuations are done inside the college. This college have good skilled professors.The subjects in first year are common subjects for all branches and from second year you have department subjects and vertical subjects.

This college have a public library and it have around 10000 books and there is a small gym inside the college with basic equipments.The famous places near the college are kaanadukathaaan palace.The locality is peaceful and safe in night also.
