Course Curriculum Overview

3

Coming to curriculum it's a kinda drawback to be Frank I would it's a half baked curriculum which good for the modern world while at times there are subjects which doesn't even require for your job and there are still there the curriculum is good for 3rd year like you get know the subjects you need for the job the 1st year subjects should be changed accordingly to me they are of no use just a time waste , teaching methods should probably be more interactive and less ppt based, the exam timing is ok ok not bad there is enough amount of time to prepare for the exam based on that difficulty

Internships Opportunities

3

The interships with stipend aren't provided In the college by them itself you have to search by your own by applying in linked and you have do your own projects the college only provides you with a campus placement in 4th year , yes it provides unpaid internships in 3rd year if you want paid if you have to search on your own and I did an intership in jp morgan with an stipend of 25k

Placement Experience

4

The campus placements are fine I would not say the best but good as per the university if you studied well you would be getting a placed of 10lpa easily which is the average in our college, from the semester 6th most students get eligible for the campus if your skilled and having coding knowledge you are eligible from 5th semester too, there are many companies visited like infy, tcs, wipro, samsung, bsoft and many more the highest was around 60 like when I was in placement and average was around 10, alomost 90 percentage of the students gets placed in the campus and finally my plans are going masters after gaining some job experience

Fees and Financial Aid

For me the fee at vit for whole 4 years was 200000 per year for whole four years it was 8 lakhs which was quite worth for me cause I got the seat in vit that too in cse in cat - 1 which is the lowest fee structure In vit and I am quite happy with the fee and coming to extra free in the 3rd they take around 30 thousand for placement training and exam fees every sem minimal other than that there are no more extra and caution deposit is around 10k there and that it is it there are no many hidden charges

Campus Life

5

The campus life is probably the best to me vit, there is fest happening every 2months odd and there are every good guests and celebs and some the names are vitopia the main fest which is done beautifully and love it, the library resources are aslo good if you look you are even give with a login details website there you have all libarary books soft copy it's cool right , the classroom are all digitalized and beches are aslo comfortable enough, the main thing is the sports is too good every sport is almost available to play and there sports fest too in which the tournaments are conducted with prize money too

Hostel Facilities

4

The room I took is 4 sharing ac the room is clean and have beds for each and aslo the cleaning of the room is twice a day and they clean bathrooms too daily and there is no problem, the mess food is ok ok not the worst but it's manageable you get to eat chicken two times a week which is very good and if you are vegitarian you get to eat panner and the other days are manageable, you justed have to book the hostel from your portal which is quite easy and simple and affordability is it's affordable not too much costly i say I pay 150000 per year which quite justified

Admission

You know everyone first priority would be going into the iits or nits if you won't get a seat there you search deemed to be colleges like vit amity , I choose vit as my college over iiit sri city which I got seat in it because vit has more exposure than iiit sricity and the main choosing vit was you get good college life with a beautiful campus, the people surrounded in vit are more better and knowledable compared to other colleges like amity, amrita, satyabamma and I aslo thought of going into amity and but I am that I am in vit I think it's better in every corner from that as per placements, college life and even faculty . The eligibility to be in vit to the viteee exam and based on those marks you get a rank and you need to be counselling and upon your rank you get a seat and cat based your rank the fee is also decided

Faculty

3

This is the main thing the faculty to student is quite good or just decent not the best, the faculty Interaction with the students is quite bad you know they just don't interact with the students properly neither the faculty interacts, the faculty I liked the most was dr govinda k he used interact with student make learning fun with quizs in the class and of course he used to give some easy marks too , the faculty I didn't like would be Mythili who shuts keeps on shouting on the students and never gives proper marks or internals she aslo just reads the ppts , coming to exams to pass the exam it's quite very easy everyone would probably pass the paper is made like that

Night Life

5

The night life is just beautiful that's it , the gym and library are open upto 11pm if there is any exam day next there open upto midnight 3 or 4 am, there are night cateens to chill with your friend and spend some quality time , the famous hangout place would be foody complex and locality to go out is not necessary there is a lot of time pass inside the campus only

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect which is great future on IT Field of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course. The curriculum prepared me to solve tough real-world logical aptitude test and coding test. The course curriculum is only based on the theory in several areas. My suggestion is to improve that too in practical manner for better real-world understanding. The frequency and the timing of my exams along with my perspective on the difficulty level is 2hrs.

Students right from the second year will be given training related to their placements like basic aptitude, soft skills and programming languages. Every year almost 93% of the students who have shown interest towards placements are placed with competitive packages. The highest package is upto 54 LPA and the average stands upto 5.2 LPA.
