Course Curriculum Overview

4

In my particular course that is BCom (hons) it does not provides any choice for the AEC cource in 2nd and 3rd sem, student have to select hindi which is not good at all. Every sem is of approx 4 months, so the frequency of exams is after every 4 months and one has to clear 7 papers in order to pass the sem exam.

Internships Opportunities

5

So being the part of the internship cell of our college we brings so many internship to the college and the person with zero experience can join it too. The internship cell of our college will organise 2 flagship events which is internship fairs and almost 40+ companies comes to the college which provide internship to every courses and every batch.

Fees and Financial Aid

my 1st year fees was 13500/- and it increased to 16000/- in 2nd year which is not expected. so i don't like this, also college provide scholarship to the students to the Financial weaker students. And it provide reserved seats as well for the OBC and SC/ST students.

Campus Life

5

So, I am a part of The internship cell of our college and honestly the societies in this college will add up a lot to your skills and also to your CV. So, yes definitely you should join the societies in the college and every society is very good in SBSC.

Admission

So, To apply for DU colleges one has to clear the exam by NTA which is CUET and according to the cut off you get the admission and i got 752/800 but being a general category i don't get admission in north campus colleges which is the greatest lack of indian education system. So if you are a general category student don't expect to be in good college even if you score good marks because indian education system always prefer the ST student with 600/800 marks in srcc rather than the general student with 752/800.

Faculty

4

The teacchers were good but the guards were too rude and also the admin block teachers, they don't even know how to talk to students. The college end sem exam are moderate in the difficulty level, almost everyone can pass the exam by studing only before 10 days and the marking scheme of DU is quite good.

Night Life

5

So, I live near the college in a flat and honestly the night life is very good here and safe too. There are a plenty of places to hangout with your freinds whenever you are free from your lectures and honestly you will learn a lot from hanging out with your freinds.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The framework prioritizes "future-ready" learning. By integrating Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC)—such as Digital Marketing or Financial Literacy—and Value Addition Courses (VAC), the syllabus moves beyond rote memorization. It forces a multidisciplinary approach, allowing you to pair core subjects with diverse electives, ensuring you remain competitive in a shifting job market.

I would rate it 8/10 as there are so many modules included in all course subjects . Its more theory based uncludes the practicality's. Is should be more practical based than theory so that it can help student to gain some practical knowledge as well

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

I have great interest in management and accounting so that's why I choose this course and the limitation is that it lacked pratical situations it only deals with theory . The time lag in the exams is less according to me as I suffered incomplete exams in sem 1 or reduce the no.of questions or answer writing pages .

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
