College review

Our college is very good for academic purpose as there are a lot of facilities and a good teaching staff but compared to other colleges the social and extracurricular activities are quite less. The building and infrastructure are outdated and campus is not so big at present.

Course structure is formed such that it covers every part of the mechanical stream.many subjects have course which is similar to that of in IITs.we have three internal examination out of which best of 2 is taken and there is a semester end examination at end of each semester.

Placements average in mechanical department companies like Robert Bosch ,Continental AG ,vedantha Limited ,Bharat Electronics Limited, Larsen and Toubro visit the campus as core profile.placements in other departments are excellent and they have reached more than hundred percent in their respective departments companies like Cisco, mccafe, Infosys, Philips etc visit the campus. Our college do not provide any internship but they give a stipend of rupees 3000 who carry out the internship during their 6th semester summer break.

Our college celebrates techno cultural annual fest called 'techNIEks' every year as a part of social and extracurricular activities. there is lot of any other extra curricular activities in mechanical department like National level paper presentation competition called 'cogNIEscience' and 'Roborikshi' Robo war competition Automotive technological fair and many other and there are many student chapters like Onyx, SAE, Baja ,IEEE etc

The fee of student who admits through K CET is affordable by everyone and is worth of paying. the unaided course is slightly higher than aided course .The fee structure varies depending on the mode of admission, comed-K is higher compared to all of these.

our college provide many scholarships for students in the name of alumnos . There is a complete refund of fee for a best student admitted through K CET and topped in his academics. Many endowment awards are provided for the students in their respective areas ,for their ranks and scoring highest marks in their respective subjects.

the Labs are well equipped with recent experimental setups and in our department there are 8 centres of Excellence which helps students to get excelled in the subject as they provide training and hands on experience for students.The sports in the college is also good has they encourage students to participate in every competition(national level and also divisions)

Our college has strong alumni network, seniors of our college are connected and they continuously helping college through various modes, well known alumni N R Narayana Murthy is the president of the administrative Council and our college is shifting to new new campus and get the designation of University soon.

Good faculty with great knowledge in subject (exceptions are there everywhere)many of the faculties holds there Mtech and PhD degree from IIT and they have great experience in teaching the subject. They undertake project works every year and improvise in the subject ,some of the senior faculties in the department are just marvelous.
