Course Curriculum Overview

5

We will have exposure to various technologies and courses like block chain, machine learning, web development and all. So whichever interests you best can opt it. The management will help you master the course and provide you with necessary material. These helped us in cracking interviews during placements

Internships Opportunities

5

Various companies like EXPERIAN, NCR, BRANE ENTERPRISES, TCPWAVE and many more companies offerend internship + FTE, with stipends 30k, 30k, 33k, 40k respectively. Minimum stipend would be 15k. And the average stipend will be around 20k

Placement Experience

5

Students are eligible to sit in placements from sixth (6th) semester. Almost 90% of the students are placed. Companies like REALPAGE, ADP, DARWINBOX, EPAM, SERVICENOW, TCPWAVE, EXPERIAN, NCR and many more visited the campus

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee was around Rs.1,10,000/- I got free seat through EAMCET, so I paid around 10k during the admission and the semester exams fee need to be paid.. the overall fee per year that I paid was around 10-12k and not more than that. But my friends who got admission through management or whose parents are working as government employees needed to pay full fee which was around 1.2LPA

Campus Life

5

There will be various occasions like KMIT evening, Dandiya night where the campus is decorated like a club and we'll have dance parties and fun. Library is free and we can lend books from it. If you're working on micro devices , the campus will provide you Arduino kits and all. There are football, badminton, volleyball and basketball games.

Admission

I applied CBIT, VASAVI, and VNR before applying KMIT. as my EAMCET rank was around 6k I didn't get free seat into the colleges. But after going through many reviews and continuous research I found KMIT will be a good choice. Opting KMIT is one of he best decisions I made. KMIT is in the city, travelling is easy, faculty is good, placements are great. Once you apply for EAMCET colleges you'll be receiving a message that you've been allotted a seat in this college.. then the college will let you know a date to come to campus and fill in some details. You should also carry your original certificates along with the Xerox copies and passport size + stamp size photographs. A list of all the documents will be provided by the college

Faculty

5

Faculty is well trained with good knowledge. Tests will be conducted on regular basis. There will be mid exams, 2 times in a semester. And lab exams 2 times per semester and one final semester exams. Mid exams were 25 marks and considered as 10 percent of overall score. Labs and records were next 15 percent and remaing 75 percent is semester score

Night Life

5

The college closes at 7. So there will be no nightlife at campus. But near college you can visit various cafes and restaurants. There are multiple hostels for students near KMIT. Campus is near to TANK BUND / HUSSAIN SAGAR. And there are various movie theatres near campus

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.
